Brand History
The creators of exclusive alcohol – entrepreneurs Anatoly Korneev and Maxim Kashirin – began their journey into the alcohol world in 1994 from a small trading company that introduces Russians to high-quality Italian wines. Things went well, and ten years later the company grew to a large-scale holding company with a developed network of subdivisions.
By 2005, the company significantly expanded the range of drinks, became one of the leaders in the field of wine distribution.
Along the way, the management of Simple mastered related activities: they opened wine bars, schools, wineries, organized festivals and charity events, introduced compatriots to the culture of tasting, and launched their own alcohol brands. One of these initiatives was the creation of elite vodka “Onegin”. It was released in 2016 at the Ulyanovsk Distillery, although the idea of manufacturing arose much earlier – back in 2007.
Thanks to the carefully chosen name, in the minds of consumers, a strong association with Pushkin’s novel, a symbol of the Golden Age of Russian classics, has been fixed for the product.
Warms interest in the drink and limited edition: vodka is blended and supplied in small batches.
Composition and features of Onegin vodka
Like most elite vodkas, the drink is made from selected wheat alcohol and specially prepared water. The “highlight” of the product is the inclusion of infusions of almonds, dried apricots, white raisins, honey distillate and Bourbon vanilla in the recipe.
The percentage of additional ingredients is minimal (from the category of tenths of a volume), but it is it, in combination with multiple filtration, that gives the drink exceptional softness and a recognizable bouquet.
Another “trick” of the brand is a special way of tasting. The manufacturer recommends drinking Onegin vodka from branded rocks – chilled or with an ice cube.

Drink description
In appearance, Onegin vodka is crystal clear, the aroma contains light shades of dried apricots, vanilla and honey. Shake notes the purity and brightness of the taste.
The initial almond sweetness gives way to a harmony of softness and astringency, finishing with an elegant bitterness.
The drink is produced in bottles of different volumes (0,5 l, 0,7 l, 50 ml), in gift boxes, as part of sets with branded rocks. Some sets also include a pocket edition of Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin.
