Vodka on fruits, herbs and spices: 18 recipes at home

For the preparation of strong drinks from moonshine, not only fresh fruits are suitable, but also slightly fermented.

The famous “French vodka” is made from such fruits. In the old days, this name referred to especially high-quality home-brewing products; today, this is the name for secondary distillation drinks from slightly “spiky” fruits, wine and yeast.

They are made by different methods, including a variety of additional ingredients, and distilling the mixture from 1 to 3 times.

Tips before starting

  1. Before cooking, moonshine is recommended to be cleaned with activated carbon or potassium permanganate, which will improve the quality of the final product.

  2. The finished drink is well stored and becomes tastier after a long exposure.

  3. Homemade cognacs are tinted with caramel sugar or natural ground coffee.

Vodka “Yellow”

In the absence of any herbs, the recipe can be adjusted, but resin products must be present.

Ingredients

  1. Rosemary – 40 g

  2. Pistachios – 40 g

  3. The rest – 40 g

  4. Nutmeg – 40 g

  5. Cover – 40 g

  6. Dewy incense – 40 g

Method of preparation

  1. All components, except for pistachios and ½ mass of saffron, carefully detail and knead in a common container.

  2. Put the pistachios in a bag, tie with a thread. Leave the saffron.

  3. Pour the mixture with good moonshine.

  4. Dip a bag of nuts into the liquid, fixing the thread on the neck of the dish.

  5. Keep the drink warm for 5 days, add the left saffron, overtake.

Vodka “French classic”

Any slightly spoiled fruits and berries without mold are suitable as a base. The calculation of the number of components is done as follows: for 12 liters of fruit-water mixture, 0,7 liters of wine and 50 g of yeast are required.

Ingredients

  1. Rotten fruits – any number

  2. Water – by the amount of raw materials

  3. Wine – in proportion

  4. Yeast – proportionally

Method of preparation

  1. Cover fruit completely with water.

  2. Pour in the wine and stir in the yeast as directed.

  3. Let the mass sour, overtake three times.

Vodka on spring water

Ingredients

  1. Moonshine – 37 l

  2. Milk – 9 liter

  3. Spring water – 3 l

  4. Rye bread – 3,4 kg

  5. White wine – 3 l

  6. Raisins – 1,3 kg

  7. Sugar – 0,4 kg

Method of preparation

  1. Combine moonshine with 6 liters of milk, overtake.

  2. Pour in water, the rest of the milk, lay out the bread and overtake again.

  3. Add wine, raisins, sugar, seal the jar, refrigerate.

  4. Wait a couple of days, overtake a third time.

French vodka “Spicy”

  1. Put the roots in a bottle, soak in alcohol, leave for 1 month.

  2. Drain the infusion through a cloth, dilute with water to reduce the strength.

Bitter vodka “Kyummel”

Ingredients

  1. Cumin seed – 5-7 tbsp. l.

  2. Dill seed – 2 tbsp. l.

  3. Crushed lemon peel – 3 tbsp. l.

  4. Violet root – 3 tbsp. l.

  5. Sugar – ½ cup

  6. Vodka – 1 l

Method of preparation

  1. Pour all dry ingredients into a vessel, pour in vodka.

  2. Wait half a month or more, decant the drink, sweeten.

  3. Filter the liquid through a tissue flap, seal in bottles.

Vodka “Fragrant”

  2. Put all the infusions in a common pan, add honey and spices, close the lid tightly, fix it with sticky dough, place a weight on top and send it to an oven preheated to 100 ° C or an oven.

  3. Wait 10-11 hours, get a vessel, decant the drink. Serve hot.

Vodka “Peach”
