Nemiroff is a brand with a century and a half history, represented on 5 continents. Production begins in 1872 in the city of Nemyriv, where the largest distillery in Podolia was opened after reconstruction.
A century and a half ago, the principles that the company is successfully guided by today were formed: high quality requirements, adherence to old recipes, continuous improvement of production and the search for new facets of tastes.
Brand history and production specifics
The history of Nemiroff vodka dates back to time immemorial: even when there was no official production, the small town of Nemiroff was already famous for its distilleries. In 1872, Count Stroganov managed to unite independent producers, thanks to which the local alcoholic drink became popular throughout the country.
Soon the owner of the plant changed, and already in 1906 the level of production rose to a record high of 5 bottles per day. The main buyers of the product were Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as some European countries.
The turning point for the company was 1992. Then all the old equipment was sent to scrap, and a new, modern plant was erected in its place.
In 2003 and 2004, the company’s turnover reached colossal levels, as reported in the British magazine Drіnks International.
And at the end of 2005, Nemiroff was recognized as one of the best vodkas in the world, capable of competing even with such brands as Absolut and Smirnoff.
Over the past 15 years, Nemiroff has received more than 70 prestigious international awards, including honors from the Chicago Beverage Tasting Institute, The Vodka Masters, San Francisco World Spirits Competition, The Superior Taste Awards, International Spirits Challenge, Mixology Taste Forum, World Drinks Award, The Global Spirits Masters International Competition, Wine Enthusiast, The London Spirits Competition, The Fifty Best.
Today, Nemiroff is represented in 80 countries of the world, is in the TOP-10 world vodka brands and TOP-3 vodka suppliers in Duty Free stores.
Types of vodka Nemirof
The assortment of “Nemiroff” includes more than thirty different types of vodka, but only six of them are world-famous. They will be discussed below, since the remaining varieties are unlikely to be found outside of Ukraine.
Original
The first signature Nemiroff drink created for those who appreciate uncompromising quality.
The perfect combination of natural ingredients and adherence to world production standards is embodied in a vodka with a strong taste and a pleasant tart aftertaste with hints of cumin and natural honey.
The high quality of the product is recognized by international connoisseurs and confirmed by numerous awards: Mixology Taste Forum, International Spirits Challenge, Chicago Tasting Institute.
Delicate
One of the highlights of the brand, made according to a unique recipe, the development of which, at one time, took the company more than one month.
After distillation, the raw material is filtered only naturally (through birch and coconut charcoal), thanks to which the vodka acquires a real mineral shade.
The aftertaste is complemented by notes of lemon balm and natural linden honey.
Lex
Vodka “Lex” is popularly called “super premium product”.
First of all, this name comes from the relatively high price per bottle, however, the cost of this vodka is fully justified.
After blending, vodka is infused for a long time. “Resting”, as they say at the factory.
Thanks to this, vodka is fully revealed only when chilled: the taste of juniper berries and the aroma of anise are felt in the drink.
- De Luxe series
Premium series, represented by three drinks with their own unique taste and character.
Rested in Barrel – vodka aged in wooden barrels absorbs spice, light sweetness, astringency of oak bark and rich woody aroma. The taste of the drink is full of unexpected facets and exclusive shades.
honey pepper – the combination of red chili pepper, natural honey and a mixture of herbs and spices gives the drink a rich, multifaceted taste.
De Luxe – the drink is made according to the author’s recipe in compliance with high standards of production based on natural ingredients, pure natural water and alcohol of the “Lux” class. High pressure, temperature and 11 stages of filtration turn this vodka into a symphony of perfect, full-bodied taste with a hint of lime.
honey pepper
One of the truly extravagant vodkas on the world market.
Only gourmets who are not afraid to experiment with familiar drinks can appreciate it at its true worth.
The velvety taste is set off by hints of caramel and nougat, there is also a subtle hint of honey.
The sharp aroma is due to the presence of chili peppers and meadow herbs in the recipe. In a word, this vodka will really not be to the taste of every drinker.
Wild Cranberry
The only vodka from the brand has a strength of 37.5 degrees, as well as a really long aftertaste.
The manufacturer strongly recommends drinking this vodka slowly in order to have time to enjoy the original taste of a quality product – it harmoniously combines light berry sourness and the power of natural minerals.
It is this vodka that is most often used as the basis for most cocktails.
Bold Orange
A drink based on an original recipe from the XNUMXth century and a fresh orange flavor, softened in oak barrels to create a whole new taste sensation.
Nemiroff Tart Orange is bright and clean, with just the right hints of sweet, citrus and spicy.
Drink chilled or mixed with orange juice and ginger ale for the perfect cocktail.
Burning Pear
An infusion of natural herbs, based on an original recipe from the XNUMXth century, and natural pear concentrate.
Vodka creates a completely new taste sensation, has a velvety, mild taste that opens with sweet honey-pear notes, and is accompanied by a slight touch of hotness in a new rich taste.
