Mammoth is an elite brand of vodka made only from luxury alcohol and the purest spring water from the Altai foothills. Thanks to its mild taste and original aroma, it quickly gained fame among connoisseurs of quality alcohol.
Additional popularity of vodka is given by the bottle, or rather its shape: the container almost completely copies the hollow mammoth tusk. The design idea is partly copied from the horns of animals that people used to drink alcohol in the old days.

History of vodka Mammoth
The idea of creation came up with Frederik Paulsen, an Arctic explorer originally from Sweden. When in 2002 the prospectors discovered the remains of the Yukaghir mammoth, the enterprising researcher immediately came up with the idea of inventing the drink of the same name.
Soon the vodka recipe was patented, and already in 2006 the first batch of elite alcohol rolled off the assembly lines. The honor to produce the first batches of the drink fell to the Itkul distillery, which produced the best raw materials in the Altai Territory.
Of the chips of this vodka, one can note a lot of checks before the direct release of products, as well as filtration using birch charcoal with saturation with silver ions.
Types of vodka Mammoth
In total, Mammoth vodka has two brands: classic and original. Below is more about each of them:
Mammoth
Classic vodka has a strength of 40%. Experts note that this alcohol is perfectly transparent – there are not even the slightest impurities or sediment.
The drink is poured into 2 types of bottles: 0.5 and 0.7 liters each. More capacious containers can be sold in a gift box.
The vodka itself has a mild taste, in which there are notes of cedar.
Alcohol is served chilled, a great appetizer will be roasted game or seafood.
Mammoth Blood
Frankly speaking, “Mammoth Blood” is not even vodka. Rather, it is a tincture with a strength of 40 degrees.
It is bottled in classic tusk-shaped bottles with a volume of 0.5 liters.
The composition of the tincture contains more than thirty varieties of herbs and berries, which give the drink a unique taste.
The balanced sweetish taste is set off by fragrant herbs and long aftertaste.
The tincture is served in frozen glasses, in addition, it can be used as a base for cocktails.
Interesting Facts
Despite the fact that the expedition was fully financed by Frederik Paulsen, it was by no means led by him. The outing was led by Artur Chilingarov, but he could not get any rights to vodka.
The history of the plant where Mammoth vodka is made is also full of events. It was founded by Barnaul merchant Badin in 1868.
Interestingly, Mammoth vodka, unlike many other analogues, does not have a premium version. In this regard, the management of the plant officially stated that their ordinary vodka does not need additional differences, and in terms of quality it already surpasses many well-known Premium brands.
