History of vodka Baikal

It is not known for certain about the history of the brand, because the manufacturer does not post a lot of information about itself. As mentioned above, Jupiter Incorporated LLC is currently engaged in its manufacture. The company, together with Jupiter-S LLC, is part of the Jupiter company. The owner of all this is Baikal LLC.

There is about 3 times more oxygen in the waters of Lake Baikal than in any other, so this alcohol will not cause poisoning or a hangover.

The plant has been operating since 1900 and is one of the oldest. The production capacity is eight million decalitres/year.

The plant, located in Ulyanovsk, uses equipment from Italy, namely, production lines in the amount of 5 pieces and visual inspection machines. Structured melt water is obtained through ice regeneration systems. The highest quality of products is monitored by 3 divisions of the tasting commission.

In 2016, the brand was approximately estimated at 355 million rubles. Conclusions were made after taking into account the company’s profits. Baikal water is supplied to the distillery in Ulyanovsk with careful observance of sterility and temperature.

The ambassador of the drink is S. Gribkov, a bartender from the Guinness Book of Records, who went through the necks of 200 containers. The brand is engaged in charity work: it cleans the “Babr Day” for the “Clean Baikal” society, participates in the “Save Lake Baikal” campaign.

Types of vodka Baikal

All types of this vodka have a strength of 40 degrees:

  1. Baikal

It has a simple mild taste and an almost imperceptible aroma characteristic of vodka. Quality is ensured by mixing water and alcohol “Alpha” of the best grades.

  2. ICE

Vodka eliminates any turbidity. In the manufacturing process, water is first frozen to a state of ice, then thawed and added to Alpha. The aroma is not heavy, the drink does not differ in flavors.

  3. On the cranberry

This is a sweet tincture with the taste of wild cranberries. Berry juice is infused with alcohol from wheat varieties and distilled according to the Charentais system in a copper still for cognac. The resulting drink is poured into containers using an eco-filling system.

  4. On pine nuts.

The tincture is created on the basis of hand-selected nuts, which have healing properties. They are infused with alcohol from wheat and also distilled using the Charentais system in a copper still for cognac. A minimum of 24 nuts per bottle create a unique spicy aroma.

  5. Baikal honey with pepper. This type is made according to an ancient author’s recipe, which combines seemingly 2 incompatible things: bitter chili and sweet honey. But this is what creates a unique exquisite taste. In this tincture, soft viscous honey is smoothly replaced by hot pepper.
