Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400 is used to supplement calcium and vitamin deficiencies. D3 and the prevention of bone demineralization. The supplement is a combined preparation containing vitamins and minerals. Vitamin D3 contained in the preparation improves the absorption of calcium. The product is in the form of tablets to be taken orally.

Dosage

Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400 is in the form of tablets to be taken orally. Best taken with a meal. Do not use on an empty stomach.

  1. Adults and children over 12 years of age. 1-2 tabl./d.

Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400 and contraindications

Contraindications to taking Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400 are:

  1. hypersensitivity to calcium salts,
  2. hypercalcemia (e.g. in patients with hyperparathyroidism, hypervitaminosis D, myeloma or bone metastases),
  3. hiperkalciuria,
  4. severe kidney failure,
  5. be used with caution in patients treated with digitalis glycosides,
  6. do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400 – warnings

  1. Patients using digitalis glycosides should consult a physician before using Vitrum Calcium 600 + D 400.
  2. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
  3. The preparation should be kept at room temperature.
  4. Store the product in a place that is difficult to reach for small children.
