Despite the use of expensive conditioners, shampoos and oils, your hair is still weak and brittle? You sure feel like you’ve done everything you can. However, not only external care is important – beauty should also be taken care of “from the inside”. It is no secret that following a healthy, balanced diet can contribute to maintaining the good appearance of hair, skin and nails. A very common problem for many women is excessive hair loss, which is the body’s reaction to the lack of certain nutrients in the daily diet.

Both hair and nails like a diet rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. Among the vitamins, A, E and all B vitamins are the most effective. Their deficiency often accompanies health problems, weight loss or excessive exposure to stress – then hair and nails are the first to be attacked. Their quality deteriorates, they become more brittle and weak.

The basis of the diet, which is to improve the condition of the hairstyle, are raw or only slightly cooked vegetables and wholegrain cereal products. In addition, it is recommended to eat dairy products every day, sea fish and meat or eggs 2-3 times a week.

First: get rid of toxins from the body!

A very important step towards well-groomed hair is detox. Drink plenty of fluids, preferably water with lemon or mint, but avoid strong coffee and tea, which “destroy” vitamins and hinder the absorption of essential minerals. In addition, there are rules very similar to all kinds of slimming diets: give up fried foods, smoked foods, and those that contain a lot of sugar or are highly processed, i.e. all fast food, sweets, chips.

Second: love the minerals…

…because your hair loves them. These types of ingredients include zinc, copper and silicon. You will find them primarily in:

  • radishes,
  • Kalarepie,
  • celery,
  • nuts,
  • almonds,
  • Sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

In addition to foods rich in silicon, zinc and copper, opt for colorful salads of orange, red, yellow and green vegetables. They contain beta-carotene, which is responsible for the production of vitamin A that causes hair growth and protects nails from damage, e.g. cigarette smoke. To see satisfactory results quickly, you should include at least two of the following foods in each meal:

  • wholemeal bread,
  • Bran,
  • The fish,
  • Ha ha,
  • Oatmeal,
  • Lean meats, i.e. poultry, beef and veal,
  • Fruit,
  • Coarse groats,
  • Brown rice,
  • Linseed,
  • Radish,
  • Parsley,
  • Lettuce,
  • Kalarepa,
  • Broccoli.
