Vitamin K for vitamin K deficiency. Indications for use

The preparation is a dietary food for special medical purposes containing vitamin K. The preparation is available in the form of drops squeezed from twist-off capsules.

Indications

The preparation is used in the dietary management of breastfed infants with an increased demand for vitamin K.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Do not use parenterally.

Dosage

Infants up to 3-4 years of age month of age, breastfed:

25 mg (the content of 1 capsule for opening) once a day. The tip of the capsule should be twisted and torn off, and then the content of 1 capsule should be squeezed into the expressed mother’s milk or directly into the baby’s mouth. When administering the preparation, be especially careful so that the child does not swallow the capsule. Once empty, the capsule must be discarded.
