Vitaminum E Hasco is a drug recommended for the prevention of deficiencies in the case of long-term improper nutrition and metabolic disorders.

Dosage

Vitaminum E Hasco is in the form of drops to be taken orally.

Deficiencies in the case of long-term malnutrition and metabolic disorders

  1. Children up to 6 years of age 10 IU / d (1 drop).
  2. Children 7-15. years of age 20 IU / d (2 drops).
  3. Adults and adolescents. 30 IU / d (3 drops).

Deficiencies associated with cystic fibrosis

  1. Children up to 1 year of age 50 IU / d (5 drops).
  2. Children after 1. 100 IU / day (10 drops).
  3. Adults and adolescents. 100-200 IU / d (10-20 drops).

Vitaminum E Hasco – warnings

  1. Vitaminum E Hasco should not be used simultaneously with other preparations containing vitamin E due to the possibility of overdosing.
  2. Use the drug with caution in people taking oral anticoagulants or estrogens.
  3. Peanut oil contained in Vitaminum E Hasco may contain peanut protein.
  4. Do not take the preparation during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  5. Taking the preparation during pregnancy only after consulting a doctor and only when absolutely necessary, when, in the doctor’s opinion, the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

Vitaminum E Hasco with other drugs

  1. Vitamin E can antagonize vitamin K, especially when concomitantly taking oral anticoagulants or estrogens; vitamin E may enhance the effect of oral anticoagulants (coumarin and indandion derivatives) and increase the risk of haemorrhage.
  2. Iron preparations may weaken the effect of vitamin E, therefore these drugs should be taken several hours apart.
  3. Cholestyramine and colestipol may reduce the absorption of vitamin E.
  4. Vitamin E may increase the absorption, storage and use of vitamin A, and may reduce the need for insulin and cardiac glycosides.

Vitamin E Hasco – side effects
