As an auxiliary in diuretic therapy, after antibiotic therapy, before and after surgery, in disorders of the liver, stomach and intestines associated with persistent diarrhea, in chronic and debilitating diseases (diabetes, infections of various etiologies, skin inflammations, psychosomatic diseases).

Vitamin B Compound PLIVA to lek zalecany:
- in the weakening of the body during convalescence after diseases or stress,
- auxiliary in therapy with diuretics,
- after antibiotic therapy,
- before and after surgical procedures,
- in disorders of the liver, stomach and intestines, accompanied by diarrhea,
- in chronic and debilitating diseases such as: diabetes mellitus, infections of various etiologies, skin inflammations, psychosomatic diseases.
Drug dosage
Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA is in the form of capsules to be taken orally.
- Children after 4 years of age and adolescents. 1 dr. 1-2 × / day.
- Adults. 1 day 3 × / day
Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA and contraindications
Contraindications to taking Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA are:
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- severe kidney failure,
- parallel use of levodopa without a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor.
Vitamin B Compound PLIVA – ostrzeżenia
- The drug contains lactose and should not be used by patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or malabsorption of glucose-galactose.
- The preparation may affect the results of some diagnostic tests.
- Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA with other drugs
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine) contained in Vitamin B Compositum PLIVA enhances the effect of muscle relaxants.
- Alcohol and cigarettes reduce the absorption of B vitamins.
- The effect of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is weakened by phenothiazines, antidepressants and hormonal contraceptives.
- Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) in Vitamin B Compositum PLIVA reduces the effectiveness of levodopa taken concomitantly.
- Isoniazid, chloramphenicol, cycloserine, hydralazine, immunosuppressants increase the excretion of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) from the body, which may increase the need for it.
- Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) may increase the effect of drugs that lower blood pressure.
Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA – side effects
While taking Vitaminum B Compositum PLIVA, the following may occur:
- allergic skin changes (rash, redness of the skin, hives),
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- headaches,
- yellow urine caused by vitamin B2 may occur during use; this symptom should not be alarming,
- high doses of vitamin B6 (over 2 g / d) used for 2 months and longer may induce peripheral neuropathies.
