Virtual sex: not only pluses

Psychologists from the scientific centers of Victoria, San Jose and Baltimore (USA) asked themselves the question: what can be said about visitors to sex sites on the Internet?

They studied 760 students, dividing them into groups based on whether they use sex-only, entertainment-only, both types of sites, or neither. It turned out that those who surf both types of sites are not very satisfied with their real life, while those who visit only informational resources or are not interested in “virtual sex” at all feel happier and maintain stronger social ties. So, while visiting sex sites can help develop social skills and sexuality, there is a real danger of becoming disconnected from real relationships and losing touch with people.
