Vincent

Perhaps you rarely meet a person who has never heard the sad story of Vincent van Gogh. The tragic death of the artist left an imprint on his favorite drink, giving absinthe an aura of sinister romance. Therefore, it was a win-win marketing ploy for Brandbar to name the new brand of absinthe Vincent. But the name is binding. Even sophisticated absinthe connoisseurs recognize that Vincent meets the most stringent European quality standards.

In the 90s, it was difficult to buy high-quality alcohol at a reasonable price in the CIS countries. Many cheap fakes appeared on the market, and good imported alcohol became simply beyond the reach of most consumers.

It was then that several Ukrainian businessmen pooled their capital and created Brandbar LLC, which was supposed to produce analogues of the best foreign brands of alcoholic beverages: gin, sambuca, medicinal balms and tinctures. In 2001, the company signed a contract with the Austrian company Esarom for the joint production of absinthe.

For four years, Esarom specialists studied the market situation, adjusted equipment, and based on old recipes created a completely new absinthe with an original taste. Only in 2005, a line for the production of Vincent absinthe was launched at the Chernihiv distillery.

The place for the production of the drink was chosen extremely well: Chernihiv is famous for its soft, crystal clear artesian water. Vincent is made from grain alcohol of the brand “Lux”. Wormwood and other herbs for tincture are exported from Austria, where they are specially grown on the alpine plateaus. The drink is distilled and stabilized according to Austrian technology.

In 2007 Vincent absinthe took first place at the international exhibition World spiritus Ukraine.

Types of absinthe Vincent

There are three types of Vincent absinthe:

  • Vincent is a bright green absinthe with a strength of 60%. The taste of the drink is balanced, not too sharp, with predominant notes of wormwood and anise;
  • Vincent Premium – emerald green absinthe with a strength of 70%. The taste of the drink is rich, spicy, slightly tart, with a wormwood-anise aftertaste;
  • Vincent Gold is an absinthe color of sun-dried grass with a strength of 60%. The drink does not contain artificial colors and preservatives. In a delicate taste, wormwood bitterness harmoniously combines with anise and fennel flavors.
