Dealing with fear is very much like a big military operation.

First, you must have a vigorous army.

If you are weak, unhappy and sour, you will be afraid of everything. But why are you sour and unhappy? See →

Secondly, there should be intelligence that will tell you who you are afraid of, what is behind all this and whether it is really worth being afraid of.

Fear has big eyes. It is foolish to cheat yourself, imagining horrors where there are none.↑

Excessive attention to ensuring that there are no fears only strengthens them. Attention enhances any state. If you think about your fears and that they need to be removed, the fears only intensify. If you do not deal with the removal of fears, but with deeds, “give up your hand” to fears and set yourself up for positive, you quickly enter a normal, working state. Auto-training helps a lot.

If, nevertheless, a battle is to be fought, it is very important to carry out the necessary sabotage work to weaken the enemy’s forces, depriving him of provisions and ammunition.

Fear is possible as long as there is an associative link between the image stored in memory and the bodily experience of fear. Accordingly, in order to remove fear, three things can be done: destroy the image, destroy the connection, or make it impossible to experience fear. See details →

And now — a victorious attack, and fear is broken! Now do not forget to occupy the liberated territory with your own troops.

A holy place is never empty: do not occupy yourself with business or cheerfulness, fears may return … Before a public speaking, if it is scary, after an autogenic training, it is good to do an energetic warm-up like karate: with sharp exhalations and blows. Muscle clamps of fear (in the diaphragm and shoulders) are pumped, the last fear is thrown out, replaced by cheerfulness and composure.
