PSYchology

Victimization, victim behavior (from the English. Victim — victim) — a person’s predisposition to get into situations associated with a danger to his life and health. In particular, these are the actions and deeds of a person that provoke a desire to attack him. A milder option is the actions of a person that increase the likelihood that he will fall into some kind of bad situation.

Feminists protest against this term, insisting that victimology justifies violence by shifting some of the blame onto the victim, who, due to careless behavior, is «to blame.» Thanks to the efforts of feminists, the term “victimity” has become less used in Western forensic science, but quickly migrated to the jargon of psychologists to describe the thoughtless and provocative behavior of people who arrange serious trouble for themselves from scratch.

Unlike a masochist, a person with victimized behavior does not want to experience suffering, but arranges trouble for himself simply because he often lives “without a head” and makes elementary behavioral mistakes. Which?
