In models equipped with an electronic display, you can understand the causes of a particular breakdown by deciphering the alphanumeric codes. These codes appear on the display after each self-diagnosis of the machine.
Most often, Vestel cars give out the following error codes: E07, E01, E02.
Washing in the Vestel machine does not start
With the indicated failure, in 4 out of 10 cases, the UBL sensor (hatch blocking device) breaks. Because of this, the controller thinks that the door is open and prevents the wash from starting.
In this case, there may not be breakdown codes on the scoreboard.
What is the result? The door of the machine is locked, you press “START”, but the process does not even think of starting. Where to start looking for the causes of a breakdown and how to repair a Vestel washing machine with your own hands, consider below:
- Turn off the machine for 10-15 seconds.
- Turn on.
- If the problem is still with you, disable and enable CMA again.
- Nothing changed? Then act differently.
What to do next:
- Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
- Open the manhole cover.
- Arm yourself with a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 2 bolts holding the UBL.
- Take out the UBL carefully.
Attention! The sensor wiring is connected to the locking mechanism – do not tear off the wires.
- Take a regular tester and measure the resistance at the contacts of the UBL sensor.
- If the thermistor is working, then the indicator will be at around 900 ohms.
- In the event of a breakdown, you will see 0-1 on the tester’s scoreboard.

If you have determined that the hatch locking mechanism is not broken, then you need to look for the problem in the electrician – for this you will need the electrical circuit of the Vestel washing machine. Vestel machine freezes when starting a wash
Knowing how to disassemble the Vestel washing machine may be needed if the washer starts to freeze when starting the wash. As a rule, this happens either in the first minutes of washing, or at the very end.

- The program may hang due to a breakdown of the UBL. Press the hatch firmly with your knee – if the action helped, this does not mean that you have to do this every time. This means that the problem is in the locking device, and it needs to be changed, as described in the previous section.
Important! You can recognize the UBL problem by the constant jamming of the hatch when opening after washing.
It is much worse if the machine freezes, and the E07 code is constantly on the scoreboard. If everything goes according to this scenario, then the problem is in the electronic controller (module), and it is better to call the wizard to solve problems with it.
Believe me, it’s better not to try to repair the control board yourself – this is complex electronics, and reprogramming or repairing it requires skills, tools and knowledge. If something goes wrong and you ruin the board, then the repair will cost a penny.
Powder and rinse aid remain in the container of the Vestel machine
An equally common problem with Vestel washers is washing clothes without powder. Bottom line: dirty laundry and wet unused powder in a cuvette. The powder receiver at Vestel stops giving out powder due to the valve for filling water into the tank.

The essence of the breakdown is as follows: you start washing, the controller commands the valve to fill in water. If everything is in order, the valve opens and water flows into the tank, then the valve closes and the wash starts.
If the valve is defective or broken already during the operation of the machine, then it usually opens, but not at full strength. When you watch the machine, you may notice that the water enters the tank more slowly and with low pressure, almost without capturing the detergent container. As a result: the powder is in place, the quality of washing is C grade.

When she notices this, she immediately reports it with a code on the screen. But Westel machines often cannot do this – it is not known what speed of water intake for Turkish manufacturers is slow.
There is no point in repairing a defective valve – it is better to replace it with a new one. How this process happens:
- You buy a new valve that fits your SMA model (Vestel Aura (Aura), Vestel Bora (Bora), etc.).
- Disconnect the washer from all systems: electricity and water supply, sewer pipes. Remove the machine from the niche if it is built in.
- Unscrew the bolts that secure the top cover of the CM and remove it.
- Under the cover, where the water intake hose is connected, a small filling valve will be waiting for you (usually made of plastic)
- Remove the wires coming from the sensor.
- Unscrew the fasteners that hold the valve and remove it.
- Take a new unit and install it in the same way as it was removed: tighten the bolts, connect the wiring, close the lid and run a test wash at idle – without clothes.
We add that Turkish-made CMs cannot stand on a par with better models, but their plus is that many breakdowns can be fixed without a master – with your own hands. All you need: comprehensive repair information, minimal tools and some free time.
