Despite the beautiful foreign name, Delasy vermouth is a product of the domestic alcohol industry. However, so that the spiced wine is not inferior in quality and taste to the more famous Martini or Cinzano, Russian winemakers are helped by Spanish colleagues. Vermouth is an alcoholic drink based on fortified wine with the addition of sugar, spices (necessarily wormwood), herbs, fruit essences, etc.
Features of the brand
Like other vermouths, Delasy has a bittersweet taste with herbal and fruity aromas. The peculiarity of the brand lies in the original packaging design: the product is designed for girls, so the bottle has an elegant shape resembling a female figure. The label is covered with floral patterns and designed in gentle tones.
Vermouth Delasy has been awarded several awards: the title of “product of the year” – 2014, a gold medal at the international wine competition – 2014, 2016, a gold medal at the competition “Golden Griffin” – 2016.
Manufacture
The Delasy brand is owned by Uniway Management and has been produced at the Stavropol Wine and Cognac Factory (Alvisa) since 2005. The drink is based on white Spanish wine with the addition of sugar and alcohol. The exact recipe is kept secret, but the composition definitely includes extracts of wormwood, elderberry, mint, nutmeg.
Types of vermouth Delasi
Bianco – notes of lemon balm, lemon and lime are felt in the taste.
Rosso – the bouquet is dominated by pomegranate and cherry fruits.
Flowery is a vermouth with an orchid floral scent.
Extra Dry is a drink based on dry wine with a reduced sugar content and a pronounced bitterness; notes of rosemary, thyme, and cloves are felt in the bouquet.
The fortress of all Delasy vermouths is 14.9%.

How to drink Delasy
Delasy is suitable as an aperitif – it is served before dinner in a glass with ice and a lime wedge, previously cooled to + 8-12 ° C. However, most often the drink is used in cocktails.

Like other vermouths, Delasy can be drunk without a snack, or served with canapes, salted crackers, tartlets with light salads, olives, cheese.
In addition, vermouth is diluted with water, juice or soda (proportions to the taste of the taster), mixed in equal proportions with gin, vodka, cognac, rum and any other strong alcohol.
Cocktails with Delasy
1. 50/50. Mix equal parts Delasy Extra Dry vermouth and gin in a shaker with ice, serve with a lemon wedge and a mint leaf.
2. Grenada. Mix orange juice, 2 parts Delasy Rosso and 6 parts dark rum in a shaker with ice, serve in a chilled old fashioned glass, you can sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
3. Club. Put a few ice cubes in a martini glass, pour in succession 2 parts cognac, 5 parts Delasy Bianco, 7 parts orange juice (you can take multifruit). Mix.
