The preparation is a drug that reduces the permeability of capillaries. In the pharmacy, it is issued in the form of a gel.

Venoruton Gel – indications and dosage
Venoruton Gel is a preparation whose active substance is oxserutin. It is used in pain and swelling caused by chronic venous insufficiency. Pain states after obliteration treatment of varicose veins and pain and swelling as a result of muscle sprains and contusions.
Dosage: topically, on the skin. Venoruton Gel can be applied under a dressing or elastic bandage twice a day, morning and evening.

Contraindication: hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
Venoruton Gel – warnings
- Venoruton Gel is intended for external skin application only; do not use on mucous membranes or damaged skin.
- If symptoms worsen or persist, consult your doctor.
- Before using Venoruton Gel, consult a doctor if: you are allergic to any medications; use of other medications (including over-the-counter medications); the presence of other diseases.
- The preparation should not be used in the case of venous disorders caused by thromboembolism.
- Before using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor; the gel should not be used earlier than the fourth month of pregnancy.
- The gel contains benzalkonium chloride which may cause skin irritation.

Rare cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions (reversible upon discontinuation of treatment).
