Venoruton 300 – indications and dosage

Venoruton 300 is a drug whose active ingredient is oxerutin. It is used in the form of capsules in chronic diseases of the venous system (e.g. chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins). Skin diseases of vascular origin and leg ulcers. Anal varicose veins and their complications and as an aid in microangiopathies in the course of diabetes mellitus.

Dosage

1. Orally: initially 1 tablet. 2 × / d or 1 capsule 2-3 × / d; this dose should be used until symptoms have completely disappeared.
2. In maintenance treatment: the dose can be maintained or reduced to 1 tablet / day or 1 capsule 2 times / day.

Treatment can be repeated with the starting doses or the maintenance doses if symptoms reappear.

Venoruton 300 and contraindications

Contraindication to the use of Venoruton 300 are:

1. allergy to any of its ingredients,
2. giving to children under 12 years of age,
3. taking by women in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Venoruton 300 – warnings

1. Before taking Venoruton 300 while pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor; the preparation should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy.
2. Venoruton 300 should not be taken if you experience ankle swelling due to impaired heart, liver or kidney function.
3. There is no information on the effect of the drug on the ability to drive and use machines.

Venoruton 300 – side effects

There may be:

All these side effects are reversible when treatment is discontinued.
