Every season is perfect for cleansing the body. Now in most stores we have a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, in particular green and leafy ones, such as arugula, kale, spinach or cabbage.

Determination can be essential when nausea, drowsiness, headaches and irritability occur, for which you should prepare yourself. The fact that the ailments will pass quickly and in return you will feel a new surge of energy can be reassuring. Although the food groups that you can consume are limited, with a little effort, cleansing can be tasty.

How should the detox work?

The rules are simple. Five meals a day should consist of fruit and vegetable juices, which must be freshly squeezed. After waking up, drink water with lemon juice. I and II breakfast should consist of fruit juices that will provide energy sugar. With lunchtime, switch to vegetable juices (you can slightly warm them up). To emphasize the taste, you can choose from basil, cumin, thyme, nutmeg and pepper. It is worth using warming ginger and lemon, which deacidifies the body. Drink fennel tea before going to bed. Juice detox should last up to 3 days, it will be most convenient to do it on the weekend. You can reduce the rigor of the diet by introducing vegetable broth or soups to your menu, but do not add rice or pasta to them.

Tomato with chilli

In terms of purification, tomatoes are a gift of nature that few things can compete with. They allow you to keep the skin’s youthful appearance for longer, because they fight free radicals. Season the juice with a little chili, because this addition will speed up the metabolism. As a result, detox runs more smoothly.

A vegetable trio

Squeeze the carrots, radishes and green cucumber through the squeezer. A pinch of pepper will complete the flavor. You will make up for the deficiencies of vitamins and minerals, such as iron, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus and potassium, which will allow you to observe positive changes in the condition of your hair and nails.

Spinach and lime

It is worth combining detox with strengthening immunity. A cocktail rich in iron, vitamin C and potassium will help us with this, for which you need lime juice, a handful of spinach, a quarter of an avocado, a quarter of a pineapple, 2 apples and a few slices of cucumber. Blend, dilute with water to obtain the desired consistency.

Contraindications

Detox based on juices should not be carried out by diabetics, patients struggling with hypertension, people burdened with great effort, both at work and during sports. Also, childhood and pregnancy is not the most appropriate “moment”.
