Salads are perhaps the most popular appetizer. They improve appetite, promote the absorption of food and are an integral part of both the daily menu and the festive feast. A special group of salads is puff, which is an alternation of vegetable, meat or fish layers. Thanks to the abundance of ingredients, they are nutritious and delicious. Puff salads look very impressive and can become a real decoration of the festive table.

Recipe for puff salad with beets

To make a flaky beetroot salad, you will need:

  • 2-3 boiled beets
  • 3 carrots
  • 100 г изюма
  • 150-200 g of suluguni cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Art. l. vegetable oil
  • ½ – 1 cup chopped walnut kernels
  • 2-3 boiled yolks
  • Xnumx Olive Mayonnaise

For the first layer, grate the carrots on a fine grater. Soak the raisins for 20 minutes in warm water, then add to the grated carrots, add mayonnaise and mix everything.

For the third layer, grate the boiled beets on a coarse grater, salt, mix with vegetable oil and add walnut kernels and mayonnaise, chopped in a blender or mortar.

Place each layer, without mixing, in a glass salad bowl: first layer with carrots, then cheese and finally with beets. Sprinkle the salad with grated yolk and finely chopped cilantro.

The recipe for the Admiralsky puff salad with sour cream

The “Admiralsky” salad looks very nice, the recipe of which includes apples, and sour cream and mayonnaise are used as dressing.

To prepare this flaky salad, you will need:

  • 1 medium radish
  • 4 pcs. boiled potatoes
  • 1-2 bulbs
  • 1-2 apple
  • 5 boiled eggs
  • 100 sour cream
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • a bundle of green onions
  • salt

It is recommended to make “Admiral’skiy” salad 2 hours before meals, so that the layers have time to soak well.

Lay the Admiral’skiy salad on a flat dish in layers in a certain sequence.

1st layer: salt the radish grated on a coarse grater and cover with mayonnaise.

2nd layer: cut boiled potatoes into cubes and cover with sour cream.

3rd layer: finely chop the onions, salt and pour over with mayonnaise.

4th layer: peel the apples, grate on a coarse grater and pour with sour cream.

5th layer: cut hard-boiled eggs into large pieces, salt and cover with mayonnaise.

Garnish the salad with finely chopped green onions.

Pomegranate puff salad recipe with chicken

To make a Pomegranate puff salad, you need to take:

  • 1 chicken leg
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 2 pcs. boiled potatoes
  • 1 large pomegranate
  • 100-150 g mayonnaise
  • salt
  • greenery

To peel the pomegranate, you need to cut the fruit crosswise near the tail and lower it into the water. This will help avoid splashes during cleaning.

First of all, boil the leg, remove from the broth, cool, separate the meat from the bones and divide into fibers. Place the chicken on the bottom of a clear glass salad bowl, salt and brush with mayonnaise.

Finely chop the onions and place them on the chicken, on top – cut potatoes into small cubes, add salt and mayonnaise.

Boil the eggs hard-boiled, cool, separate the whites from the yolks and chop finely. Lay the yolks on top of the potato layer, then the whites and brush with mayonnaise.

Grind the walnut kernels in a blender or grind in a mortar and pour in the next layer with mayonnaise.

Peel the pomegranate, separate the grains and arrange them around the edge of the lettuce in 2 rows in a circle. Garnish the Pomegranate puff salad with chopped herbs.
