Veda (“Veda”)

Veda is a premium class drink made at one of the enterprises of the Russian alcohol giant BELUGA GROUP (previously, until 2017, the Synergy group of companies). The production uses traditional technologies and a unique method of purification – “ice filtration”: distillates are cooled to -5 ° C before bottling, which harmonizes the aroma and makes the taste of the future drink balanced. The water, which is diluted with alcohols, is filtered with silver-plated activated carbon in three stages, and then frozen. Thus, in the drink, “Lux” alcohol, which has been hardened by frost, and softened melt water are combined. The cleansing process takes 3 days.

The excellent quality of Veda is confirmed by the gold medals of the annual ProdExpo competition from 2005 to 2008.

About the manufacturer

Vodka is produced at the Mariinsky Distillery, the leading enterprise in the Kuznetsk Basin. The plant was founded in 1900 on the banks of the Kiya River in the center of the Siberian taiga. The old Russian town of Mariinsk is small, and the only plant of this level in it.

The enterprise began work before the First World War, was nationalized by the Bolsheviks in 1920, developed production until the Great Patriotic War, and during the hostilities supplied alcohol to the front.

In the post-war years, the plant was reconstructed, workshops were completed, equipment was modernized, and capacity was increased. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the plant went through a privatization procedure and became an open joint stock company. In 2006, OJSC “Mariinsky Distillery” became part of the largest Russian alcohol producer – the Synergy group of companies.

To date, the production capacity of the plant allows to produce more than three million decaliters of alcohol per year. The assortment of the Mariinsky Distillery includes about fifty types of vodkas, liqueurs, balms, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks.

The company is among the top ten industry leaders in technology development, innovations are applied at all stages of production. Thanks to the efficient work of BELUGA GROUP distributors, the plant’s products are represented in all regions of Russia and are supplied to 45 countries around the world, including the United States, the Middle East and Australia.
