When choosing a variety of your favorite color and type, familiarize yourself with the flowering time and its preferences. This will help create corners of the garden where the rainbow of colors lasts all season.

What care do yellow lilies need?
Plants of this species love light, hills, well-drained, enriched soils. Humus is the best fertilizer for them. Recommended up to 7 kg / sq. m. When planting bulbs in the soil, add nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. They are brought in when the soil is dug up: 100 g / sq. m. Most varieties do not tolerate acidic soils. They are neutralized with chalk – up to 400 g / sq. m or wood ash – up to 200 g / sq. m.
In caring for a lily, it is important:
- Water under the root in hot weather, but do not forget that the lily suffers from stagnant water and needs drainage when planting.
- Feed the plant throughout the season, excluding the flowering period.
- Mulch the soil to retain moisture and prevent overheating of the roots.
- Use insecticides to keep out pests.
- For the winter, cut the plants and cover with sawdust, needles.
This is not to say that lilies of a sunny shade are much more capricious than their relatives. Therefore, in caring for them, it is worth considering the general preferences of the lily family.
Yellow lilies will always cheer you up, relieve stress with their noble beauty.
