Valladolid will host the IX National Tapas and Pinchos Contest in November

The registration period for the National Contest of Pinchos and Tapas City of Valladolid 2013 is open until next September 27, a contest aimed at bars and restaurants in Spain that regularly offer pinchos and tapas in their bar. The contest will be held from November 4 to 6 at the Millennium Dome in Valladolid.

It is the ninth edition of this recognized and prestigious event organized by Gastronomicom News for the City Council and the Provincial Hospitality Association of Valladolid and for the benefit of the Spanish gastronomic culture and the professional chefs who participate, being an important means of promoting its establishment and its cuisine, as well as an enriching experience.

The IX National Contest of Pinchos and Tapas City of Valladolid will be held from November 4 to 6 in the Dome of the Plaza del Milenio. The registration period will be open until September 27, 2013 and the call is aimed at all bars and restaurants in Spain that have a bar where tapas and / or pinchos are regularly offered.

To formalize the registration, you must complete the bulletin that you can access through this link (Pdf) and the technical sheet of the recipe that you have here (Pdf), without forgetting to attach a photograph of the skewer or the lid, taking into account that The quality and clarity of the photo is very important for the evaluation in the first phase of the selection.

Of all the applications received, a maximum of 41 finalists will be selected to move on to the face-to-face phase of the contest. To these will be added the winners of the Valladolid Provincial Pinchos Contest, they are the ones who will represent the province in the national competition.

Three prizes are established, only the first with a financial endowment and this is 6.000 euros.
