Upside down house in Rostov: photo, house upside down
In Rostov-on-Don, The Upside Down House appeared. Woman’s Day checked out whether it is easy to walk on the ceiling!
Rostov house-“shape-shifter” is a new entertainment place for the townspeople, where everyone can feel almost like in space: if not in zero gravity, then definitely out of gravity. In a house built at an inclination of 10 degrees in two planes at once, everything is upside down: interior items, dishes, household appliances hang over our heads (or maybe we are hanging over the furniture?). The two-storey building contains several “rooms” – a bedroom, a nursery, a teenager’s room, two living rooms, a fireplace, a wardrobe, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Ladies, keep in mind: you won’t last long in heels, choose comfortable shoes!
The Upside Down House will open its doors on June 19 at M. Nagibin Ave., 32k and will work every day from 10.00 to 22.00. Ticket price: 300 rubles, children under 3 years old – free.
“The first such house appeared in Poland,” said Vladimir Melnichuk, commercial director of the Upside Down House in Rostov. – The architect created it not for commercial purposes, but as a social object. In our world, the concepts of values are inverted. Therefore, Daniel Chapievsky, as he was called, wanted to transform his idea into a house with upside-down objects – so that people would think. Gradually, this object became famous all over the world. Today in Russia there are already 10 such houses, including ours ”.
Rostov “shape-shifter” is the largest in the South, its area is 120 square meters. m. Interestingly, the house weighing 20 tons is located on a water reservoir! However, the structure will not fall even in strong winds. By the way, a house with upside-down objects is recommended for the better development of children, but it is already difficult for an adult to be in it for more than 15-20 minutes.
