The well-known table salt can be used not only to enhance the taste of dishes. It is simply irreplaceable in a number of cases and will help you get rid of many troubles, both in the kitchen and outside.
1. Oil splashing. Many of us are familiar with the situation when oil is sprayed on the sides when frying. It is very easy to get rid of this – just pour a little salt into this oil.
2. The salt will help to deal with escaped milk stains – soak them in water and sprinkle with salt for a while, after which it will be very easy to remove them.
3. Add salt to the water where the eggs are boiled to prevent cracking and make cleaning easier.
4. If something in the kitchen catches fire, pouring salt into the fire will prevent the fire.
5. If the soleplate is dirty, it is very easy to clean it with salt. Preheat the iron to the maximum temperature without steam function and iron the finely ground salt that has been poured into it.
6. Salt and lemon juice or vinegar will make an excellent natural cleaner for removing dirt and stains on dishes.
7. The salt itself, or the same combination of salt with vinegar or lemon juice, will help get rid of mold, for example, in the bathroom.
8. Salt helps relieve itching, including mosquito bites. To do this, apply a saturated saline solution to the affected area.
