We invite you to take a look at the “other beauty” that exists outside of social norms, thanks to these nine women who turn their flaws into strengths, inspiring other people to feel more comfortable in front of the mirror.

Brunett works with the agency Storm Models, through which the world learned about Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford. The model says that squint is her hallmark and she likes her eyes the way they are.

Diandra Forrest, albino model
Despite the fact that – African American, she has milky white skin, green eyes and blonde hair: albinos are found among the Negroid race. Like most people with an unusual appearance, as a child, Diandra had to endure a lot of bullying. But, without losing her presence of mind, she grew up and became the first albino model in history to sign a contract with a major modeling agency. Diandra regularly collaborates with M.A.C., Jean-Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood, and is also actively involved in the movement against discrimination against albinos.

Of course, she is not able to walk on the catwalk with a characteristic gait, but she does not lack personal strength and courage, despite the fact that the girl suffers from muscular atrophy and uses a wheelchair for movement. However, this did not stop her from graduating from the New York Institute of Fashion and Technology, while doing practice in various fashion magazines and the Diesel company. Victoria Modesta, one-legged model
, singer and model, was born in Latvia. As a result of a medical error at birth, her left leg was injured, which caused many problems, and at the age of 20, Victoria decided to amputate. The singer’s radical decision nonetheless did not affect her career… She humorously calls herself a “bionic woman” and proves by her own example that you can “kick the world’s ass with one leg.”
