Making repairs is not a field to cross. Sometimes it’s worse than a move or even a fire. How many nerves, money and time it takes to transform an apartment! Of course, I want the result to please. And preferably a little longer.
Practically any idea can be put into practice now. And what it will be depends only on your imagination. The main thing here is to break away from the usual patterns and come up with something that goes beyond the framework of typical European-quality repairs. Many, I must say, succeed.
Most often they are sophisticated with the design of bathrooms. What you will not see here: 3D floors with an abyss effect, 3D walls that look like they are made of giant soap bubbles, plants that “live” right in the walls, a bathtub in the shape of a hammock or lighting on the floor in the form of fireflies. And the approach to furniture is even cooler. For example, a double rocking bed is like a chair, just a bed. And for children, you can build a bed-house: a staircase leads to it, and under it is a corner for rest.
Some manage to decorate the entire bedroom based on ocean motives: a pirate ship is “stuck” in the wall, which is actually a bed, a rope bridge leads to it, and sea inhabitants are floating along the walls. There are also creepy things. For example, a lamp that creates a shadow effect from trees thanks to its woven lampshade. For a nursery, this is definitely not suitable. And adults, perhaps, will have nightmares. And sometimes it makes you feel sick from the voluminous wallpaper: it seems that there are ripples along the surface of the walls, as if from a thrown stone.
