Unique experiences at Madrid Hotel Week
The event brings together hotel establishments in the capital and in the community, where the visitor will be offered a proposal of various activities that generate unique experiences.
The Madrid Hotel Business Association (AEHM) is the promoter of the pioneering and multidisciplinary event “Madrid Hotel Week” , which arrives in the capital of Spain on November 3 and will last until the 12th of the same month.
The event brings together hotel establishments in the capital and in the community, where the visitor will be offered a proposal of various activities that generate unique experiences.
For a week and three more days, 25 hotels will open their doors to the public, offering a program of activities aimed at all audiences, which will include exhibitions, routes, live music, children’s workshops, design, architecture, wellness, etc …
The event coincides with the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the AEHM, and is a clear commitment to publicize the avant-garde and modern aspect that hotels can offer to the public, adapting to the new trends in leisure and culture that society demands.
Breaking the traditional image of hotels
Hotels are much more than accommodation and gastronomy, in them we can find a perfect space for the development of the cultural, professional and leisure life of a city, which in turn is presented as a tourist attraction for the visitor.
Nowadays, establishments must focus on generating experiences and content, beyond simply welcoming visitors in search of an overnight stay.
In the words of the Association, we clearly see in a new varnish that traditional hotel environments are sought:
“We want to value the contribution of our establishments to society. For this reason, we invite all those who want to live a real experience to break with that invisible barrier that seems to still exist and immerse themselves without fear in the hotel experience “
The Madrid Hotel Week activity program
The entire framework of activities, in its entirety, more than 70 different ones, will be developed in two categorized themes:
- The hotel as a professional space
- The hotel as a playful space
Entities such as the Thyssen Museum or the Lázaro Galdeano Museum, participate in the event to offer numerous guided visits to them.
Already in the gastronomic plane, we can choose different activities related to culinary or cocktails, with tastings, tastings and master calasses through one of the participating establishments, such as Hotel Urban, Hotel Ritz, the Westin Palace, the H10 Villa dela Reina or the Nh Collection Sweden, among others.
Music will also make an appearance in all its varieties, from classical, opera to jazz y el soul.
In the plane of the Corporate Social Responsibility (RSC) will be framed along the lines of solidarity, healthy living, citizen awareness and the environment. Access is combined with a framework of different experiences such as those offered by “Ilunion” to learn in first person, how to access a wheelchair or what it feels like to taste a special lunch in the dark.
Sport and healthy life with races with solidarity purposes throughout the city and relaxing, in the activities wellness for all audiences where yoga and gastronomy will be the protagonists.
