Dr. Anthony Fauci, a leading US infectious disease expert, however, reminds us that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spiral out of control.

This is especially true of the holiday season, said the chief US epidemiologist.
“Unexpected” place where infections occur
“Of course we know that certain behaviors put us at risk of infection,” Fauci said. “This mask-free gathering in crowded places like bars is events that take place indoors without good ventilation,” he said. Everyone is aware of these dangers. – However, the primary method of spreading the virus is not the path “from stranger to stranger” – he said, pointing to a “surprising” place where infections occur, which we do not associate with greater risk.
