Undofen Atomizer – indications, dosage, contraindications, side effects

Undofen Atomizer is used in the treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin of the feet, hands, groin, armpits and to prevent the unpleasant odor associated with excessive sweating of the feet. Undofen Atomizer in the form of an aerosol is dispensed at a pharmacy without a prescription.

Undofen Atomizer – indications and dosage

Undofen Atomizer is a drug used to treat superficial fungal infections of the skin of the feet, hands, groin and armpits. Prevention of the unpleasant smell associated with excessive sweating of the feet.

Dosage

It is recommended to spray the inside of shoes and socks.

  1. Locally. Spray the infected skin area 2-3 times a day for 2-4 weeks, use for 4 weeks after the symptoms disappear.

Undofen Atomizer and contraindications

Contraindications for use:

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. do not use Undofen Atomizerna skin lesions with significant inflammation, on the mucous membranes, in the eyes, on large areas of the skin,
  3. do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Undofen Atomizer – warnings

  1. If symptoms do not improve 4 weeks after starting treatment with Undofen Atomizer, consult your doctor.
  2. Undofen Atomizer is intended only for external use on the skin, avoid contact of the preparation with damaged skin (using the preparation on chafed or damaged skin may cause a temporary burning sensation).
  3. Protect your eyes from contact with aerosol.
  4. In case of allergic reactions, the Undofen Atomizer should be discontinued.
  5. The preparation contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation.
  6. Use of the preparation in pregnant and breastfeeding women only after consulting a doctor and only on the recommendation of a specialist doctor (no data on the safety of the preparation during this period).
  7. Administration of the drug to children under 2 years of age should be under the supervision of a physician.
  8. Undofen Atomizer should not be used on mucous membranes.
  9. Keep the drug out of the reach of small children and up to 25 degrees Celsius (do not freeze).

Undofen Atomizer – interactions

There are no known interactions of Undofen Atomizer with other drugs.

Undofen Atomizer – side effects

Side effects include mild and transient skin symptoms at the application site, such as:

  1. skin irritation,
  2. rash,
  3. burning sensation,
  4. allergic contact reactions (rash) may occur in very rare cases.
