Fines for fishing have been used for a long time, they were introduced to preserve the populations of bioresources in water bodies of various types. Fines and punishments for violations of fishing rules in 2021

- for the destruction of rare species of aquatic inhabitants, including the Red Book ones, or inaction, which can lead to death, a fine of 2500-5000 rubles is charged from citizens, 15000-20000 rubles. from officials, 500000-1000000 rubles. from natural persons with confiscation of the instrument that causes damage;
- for violation of the rules of acclimatization, resettlement and hybridization of water resources, a punishment in the form of a warning or 1000-1500 rubles awaits. for citizens, 2000-3000 rubles. for officials, 20000-30000 rubles. legal entities;
- violators of the rules of fishing are subject to a monetary penalty, including a fine for a boat during spawning in 2021 for citizens of 2000-5000 rubles, 20000-30000 rubles. for officials, 100000-200000 rubles. for individuals with confiscation of the watercraft;
- driving a small boat without a certificate is illegal; without supporting documents for the right to own, a fine of 100 rubles can be imposed. or issue a written warning, the transfer of control to a person without appropriate documents is also punishable;
- parking and movement of cars, except for special ones, near the nature protection zone are punishable by a penalty in the amount of 500-5000 rubles. from citizens, from officials 1000-30000 rubles, 10000-300000 rubles. from individuals.

Particular attention should be paid to article 8.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, it contains all the prohibitions and exceptions to the rules for fishermen.
What is regulated, the main provisions of Article 8.37. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation
Article 8.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation is regulated by the rules of hunting, fishing and the use of other objects of the animal world. It lists all applicable penalties, including monetary fines, for violators of existing provisions.
The main provisions are:
- Punishment for violating the rules of hunting.
- Violation of the rules of fishing, including fishing during the spawning ban and the use of prohibited fishing gear.
- Violation of the rules for the use of other biological resources and the penalties for this.

The main restrictions on what is forbidden to fish
To preserve populations and save many species of fish from complete extermination in 2021, stricter restrictions on the used fishing gear were adopted and some additional restrictions were introduced.
According to the new law, it is strictly forbidden to fish:
- on the territory of farms engaged in spawning;
- in protected areas;
- in fish farms;
- everywhere during the release of young livestock;
- near dams and bridges;
- on the fairway;
- in nurseries.
Particular attention should be paid to fishing tools, the following are prohibited:
- all kinds of traps;
- pneumoarms;
- bottom nets;
- the gate;
- electric fishing rods;
- prisons;
- passive weapons;
- spinning rods with 10 or more hooks;
- all self-made devices;
- pricking agents.
There is a fine for fishing with nets with a point of any diameter.
A veto was also imposed on some fishing methods, punishable administratively and criminally:
- muting;
- creation of fences and barriers;
- installation of a hut on the ice;
- application of illumination.
It is strictly forbidden to drain water from a reservoir for the purpose of fishing.
Responsibility for the use of networks
The fine for the fishing net in 2021 fluctuates in a significant range, many factors influence the amount. Rosrybnadzor inspectors can issue a fine in the amount of 100 rubles to 300 rubles, but there are some features:
- the fine for fishing with nets in spawning grounds will be the maximum possible, that is, it will amount to 300 rubles;
- the catch of spawning carps and pikes is calculated differently, each individual will cost 925 rubles;
- crustaceans cost 115 rubles / piece;
- bream caught in this way costs 500 rubles. for each individual;
- the fine for salmon fish is higher, 13 rubles. will have to pay for each representative;
- crabs caught illegally will cost from 682 to 7184 rubles;
- the fine for the fishing net and pink salmon in it will be 961 rubles for each head.
Females caught in this way are paid in double equivalent.
Fishing without a license with nets is paid separately, it is strictly forbidden to betray such official paper to third parties.
What kind of fish should be released after being caught

In what situations is criminal liability threatened?
Punishment for the use of prohibited methods of fishing can be not only administrative, but other types of punishment are also used:
- a fine for a fishing net, if it is not possible to pay it, may be replaced by imprisonment for up to six months;
- stay in unauthorized places of fishermen with prohibited fishing tools is punishable by criminal law, up to six months of arrest.
The Criminal Code also applies to persistent lawbreakers, in particular to persons who have been fined several times in one year.
