Twisting on the block — technique exercises:
- Sit on a horizontal bench, with your back to the cable machine.
- Grab the rope with both hands so that the palms were facing each other and were over your shoulders as shown in the figure. Tip: allow the weight a bit to stretch the lower back. This will be your initial position.
- On the exhale, without moving your hips start to curl up, bringing your elbows to your thighs.
- On the inhale slowly return to starting position.
