Twisting in the AB trainer — performance technique of the exercise:

  1. Select a small weight to counter and sit in the simulator as shown in the figure. Fix the feet and grasp the handles. Arms should be bent at a 90 degree angle. This will be your initial position.
  2. On the exhale, simultaneously raise your legs and perform twisting of the upper part of the body. Ensure that the movement was slow. During the movement focus on using the abdominal muscles, while the legs and feet are relaxed.
  3. After a brief pause, exhale slowly return to starting position.
  4. Complete the required number of repetitions.

Note: for this exercise, choose a weight that can easily raise. The use of large weights can lead to injury.
