The variety is frost-resistant. Therefore, it can be grown in the northern regions as well.
“Princess Orange” prefers light, fertile soils with a neutral reaction. If you plant a flower in depleted soil, then before planting, it is advisable to add rotted manure or compost. And don’t forget to lime too acidic soil. Landing in this way:
- Dig trenches or holes 10 cm deep.
- Plant the bulbs.
- Sprinkle the flowers with soil mixed with organic fertilizers. For small bulbs, a depth of 5 cm is sufficient.
- Moisten the soil well and mulch the bed with a layer of peat.
The variety is unpretentious and practically does not require attention to itself. Flower care consists of periodic watering, as well as loosening and weeding the flower bed. For a more friendly flowering, it is advisable to feed the crops during the growing season with complex mineral fertilizers.
The bulbs should be dug out after the foliage has dried. Store them before planting in a dry, ventilated area.
