Troxerutin – indications and dosage
Troxerutin is a drug whose active ingredient is troxerutin. The preparation is indicated for:
- swelling and inflammation associated with venous circulation insufficiency (e.g. varicose veins),
- post-traumatic edema,
- supportive in case of worsening symptoms of haemorrhoids.
Dosage
- Apply a thin layer of the gel twice a day on the affected area of the skin and gently massage it in until it is completely absorbed.
Troxerutin and contraindications
Contraindications to the use of Troxerutin are:
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- do not use on mucous membranes and open wounds,
- First trimester of pregnancy.
