Trendy colors Gucci Cosmetics

Family and traditions for Italians, as you know, are the most important thing. And the fashion house Gucci, born in Florence, is no exception.

As soon as Frida Giannini became its creative director in 2006, she immediately turned to the brand’s rich, almost century-old history. For example, she rethought the iconic Bamboo and Jackie O handbags. In addition, Frida repeatedly played with the legendary Flora print, created in 1966 especially for Grace Kelly’s silk scarf. Now this floral design even adorns the box of Flora perfume, released in 2009. But most importantly, Frida Giannini created a cult following for the Gucci logo. Now this symbol of two letters G is found on almost all products, including on every object of the new Gucci Cosmetics makeup line.

It took four years to create it: Frida Giannini had to turn over the entire archive to determine the key colors of Gucci. It turned out that gold, bronze, copper, black, red and aquamarine regularly appeared in the collections of the House. It was these shades that filled the palettes of shadows, tubes of lipsticks and jars of varnishes. Renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath, who has been working at Gucci shows for ten years, helped to achieve ease of application and durability of the products. The collection includes everything you need and even more: from makeup base and specialized brushes to bronzing powder and multi-colored mascara. The face of Gucci Cosmetics is Charlotte Casiraghi, the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, an actress who has never hidden her passion for Gucci. So even here, the Italian fashion house remains true to tradition.
