Trekhgornoe – top-fermented ale. Appeared in Russia in the XIX century. Returned to the Russian market in 2014. It repeats its original taste, so modern residents have the opportunity to find out what the population of the Russian Empire admired. 1875 The Trekhgorny Brewery Association was founded in the capital of our country – Moscow – A project was launched to build the Three Mountains enterprise for the production of beer and various products from grain bread. 1876 February was marked by the completion of construction work, at the same time the process of brewing alcohol was launched. On June XNUMX, the start of sales was launched. The company presented the following brands: “Golden Label”, “Bavarskoe”.

It was distinguished by the presence of a mechanical malting apparatus. There were no such people in Russia anymore. There were 314 fermentation tanks, there were 2 steam engines.

1913 Production expanded continuously. The technology has been upgraded. This made it possible to equate the number of production to 5 million buckets annually.

1915 The plant was redesigned and militarized. This gave rise to the production of dyes from aluminum, which were required in the textile industry, and explosive substances that went into shells.

1916 The company changed its name to Trekhgorny brewing and commercial and industrial partnership on shares in Moscow “Trigor”.

1917 On November 8, the government banned the production of alcoholic products. Trigor started selling soft drinks and synthetic ice.

1923 Beer brewing has resumed. Until that time, instead of alcohol, yeast was made for the field of medicine and malt drink.

1960 Beer gained fame and recognition. Four varieties received the “Quality Mark”. These included Moscow and Riga original, Our brand, Double gold.

1975 The sales volumes of the brewery have reached the level of 16 million decaliters of alcohol.

1993 The line includes Trekhgornoye beer.

2006 The activity of the enterprise was terminated, the territory was transferred to warehouses and production.

2014 The Moscow Brewing Company resumed production of Trekhgorny because it was popular with consumers. 2 varieties appeared on store shelves: original and non-alcoholic. The first one is still in production today. Its quality has not fallen since the times of Tsarist Russia, when 2 coats of arms of the state were depicted on containers and labels.

2020 Produced to this day. Its quality has not fallen since the days of Tsarist Russia, as evidenced by the many international awards since its debut.

  1. Original ale, 4,9%

    Light. Amber color, goes to red. The foam is not abundant, quickly subsides. The rich aroma is dominated by hops, it is complemented by floral and minty shades. You can taste sour fruits. The taste is sour, hop bitterness is softly intertwined with the sweetness of malt. The finish is bright and dry. Doesn’t last long.

  2. Spiced ale, 5,5%

    Dark. The color is brown. It smells of bread, caramel and spices, which is influenced by caramel, chocolate, light and Vienna malt in the composition, as well as Cascade hops. The taste is soft, woven from spicy notes of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg shades. In the aftertaste, bitterness gradually turns into sweetness.

How and with what to drink

Before serving, ale is cooled to 10-15 ° C. Spicy dishes from Asian or Mexican cuisine are suitable for light. Dark is in harmony with poultry, game, sausages, any meat. It will pair well with sweet dishes.
