In order for the legs to be beautiful, it is imperative to treat calluses, cracks and corns on the heels. And for this, use home cosmetic procedures – baths and masks.
Treatment of calluses and calluses on the heels
To prepare a softening foot bath, mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of ammonia and pour 2 liters of warm water. Soak your feet in the solution for 15 minutes.
To steam the corn, restore strength and lightness to your legs, prepare a tonic foot bath: pour 2 liters of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of dried mint, cool until warm, then add 2 tablespoons of salt and lower your feet there for 15–20 minutes.
A homemade foot bath with a healing effect will help remove cracks, calluses and other injuries on the heels. To prepare it, pour 1 liter of boiling water with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of St. John’s wort and 1 tablespoon of calendula, cool so that the solution is slightly warm, and hold your legs in this composition for 15 minutes.
After this procedure, do not dry your feet, but let them dry naturally.
Masks for calluses on the heels
Green tea is an excellent remedy for calluses and cracked heels. To prepare the mask, pour 100 milliliters of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of dry green tea, leave for 1 minute and drain the liquid. Apply a thick layer of any moisturizer to the corn and place steamed tea leaves on top. Keep the mask for 40 minutes, then gently remove it with a damp cloth.
To prepare a cream mask with oil that does an excellent job with calluses, you will need:
- 1 lemon
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Now mix thoroughly the lemon peel, crushed to a puree consistency, the yolk and the butter melted in a water bath. Apply the resulting mixture to the problem area and leave to dry, then rinse with warm water.
You can replace the oil with lard
To get rid of calluses on the heels, use an apricot mask:
- mash 3 large apricots thoroughly
- add 5 drops of olive oil
- put on medium heat
- heat well for 3 minutes
Apply the composition to the problem area, wrap it with plastic wrap on top and put on socks. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes, then wash off with cool water.
In the fight against calluses on the heels, an egg mask will help you.
To do it:
- mash 1 egg yolk thoroughly
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon potato starch
Apply the resulting product to the corn for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and apply a moisturizer or emulsion to your feet.
