On the children’s floor of the main department store in St. Petersburg on August 30, the traditional children’s holiday “Soon to school” will take place. The theme of this year will be a trip to European countries.
Zones of six European countries will operate on the children’s floor from 15:00 to 18:00. By visiting them, children will be able to get acquainted with the local culture and traditions. In the UK, young adventure hunters will have an exciting quest with Sherlock Holmes, and in Monaco, children will be able to take part in Formula 1, showing their ability to drive on a car simulator or a circuit. For lovers of Italian cuisine, a culinary studio will open at DLT, where cooks, under the guidance of experienced chefs, will learn how to cook tiramisu and bruschetta. In France, budding perfumers will create a unique scent; in the Netherlands, they will learn how to grow tulips.
In addition, the long-awaited opening of the Smeshariki children’s play area will take place within the framework of the holiday. After going through the forest-labyrinth and working out at the climbing wall, fans of the cartoon will be able to take pictures with Krosh the rabbit and attend a natural science lesson from Barash and Kopatych.
