After breaking up with her boyfriend, the girl decided to completely transform her home.
Alyssa Shiloh is an artist and anime fan. As she says about herself, her life is very similar to continuous cosplay: the girl loves to dress up as characters from cult anime. Moreover, the appearance allows it.
Alissa works in a studio that she has furnished to her liking. It turned out to be a reflection of her personality: stylish, light, comfortable. But the artist lived in an apartment that looked more like a typical dorm room. The dwelling looked boring to the point of impossibility: white walls, indistinct carpeting on the floor, an unassuming bed, a dull blackboard with a plan for a week on the wall. You can’t say that such a beautiful girl lives here.
And then there was a drama in her personal life: Alyssa broke up with the guy she had met for the past five years. After such events, many try to change their lives, but usually they limit themselves to their hair. Alyssa did not change her hairstyle, but she decided to turn the apartment into her personal cozy nest. It turned out cool: so much so that her photo got more than a million likes on Twitter!
First of all, Alissa got rid of the squalid carpet. Underneath was a beautiful parquet floor. She repainted the white walls in peach color, moved the bed to the window – if you open the curtains, it turns out that behind them are a huge window and a cute balcony. Several pillows, a shaggy bedspread – a girl’s boudoir is already looming.
In general, there were no other large-scale changes. Alyssa added several stylish accessories: a green velvet chair, a rug on the floor (very similar to our native carpets from Soviet childhood), several monsters and other houseplants in pots, and figurines on graceful shelves.
Alissa also got rid of the dresser by installing a rail rack. But not for casual wear – elements of anime-style costumes hung from the hangers. The bottom shelf is the place for the shoes that Alissa wears most often.
The center of attraction in the room was a corner with a TV and anime disks. Moreover, he does not look like a teenager at all, but organically blended into the interior of an adult woman.
The finishing touch is the paintings on the walls. Alyssa wrote them herself, so they didn’t just fit the setting, they were the perfect cherry on the cake.
This is what Alissa’s studio looks like
Alissa’s subscribers were very surprised – but not even how her home was transformed, but why she lived for so many years in such a boring environment, if she has an unconditional talent as a designer. One of the fans of the artist’s work supported her by showing her her own room: the girl also started repairs after breaking up with her boyfriend.
Interview
Do you often rearrange?
Yes, I like to change the space around me.
Occasionally, when everything around is completely tired.
Only if we buy new furniture or make repairs.
I never do. I immediately make myself comfortable, so that later I do not waste energy on the rearrangement.
