Indications

For the treatment of moderate to severe pain.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation or other opioid analgesics, acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotics, centrally acting analgesics, including opioids or psychotropic drugs, epilepsy that does not respond to treatment, concurrent use of MAO inhibitors (tramadol should not be used during and 14 days after stopping treatment with MAO inhibitors), treatment of opioid dependence.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age:

Initially, the dose is 50-100 mg twice a day, every 2 hours. If necessary, your doctor may decide to increase the dose to 12-150 mg twice daily (up to a maximum of 200 mg daily).

In cancer and postoperative pain, it may be necessary to increase the daily dose. In patients over 75 years of age and in patients with moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency, the doctor will probably recommend an appropriate extension of the dosing intervals.
