In June, Ewa Chodakowska made the first part of a new training dedicated to children available. From September 1, children can use a full-time free training, available on YouTube. Will the exercises with Chodakowska appeal to children? We check.

Chodakowska did a training for children. What is it about?

The training from Ewa Chodakowska was initially made available only partially. There was a 10-minute movie at the children’s disposal. From September 1, the entire training is available on YouTube. It’s 20 minutes of exercise for the little ones.

Ewa Chodakowska, known for her often very demanding training for women, focused on colorful scenery in the case of children. The trainer exercises with a cartoon background, in the company of specially created heroes – the Snacks Gang. Its members are Silek, Pyszotka, Łebski and Gibek. Each creature has its own personality and a specific behavior. All of them, together with Chodakowska, perform subsequent exercises, coping with it sometimes better, sometimes worse.

Chodakowska addresses the exercising child directly. So that it feels that the trainer is talking to him, encouraging him to be physically active. During training, children perform simple movement tasks, using a ball or other small object. It could be, for example, a bag of peas.

We are testing the training from Ewa Chodakowska. How did it fall out?

So many details, it’s time to check how the training from Ewa Chodakowska works in practice. For this, of course, you have to let the child, that is, the addressee of the exercises, play it. First, the first part of the training, lasting 10 minutes, was tested.

The beginning definitely attracts attention because the trainer addresses the child directly, even asking her name. In the case of my son, it was enough to make him feel interested and start exercising. Maybe he didn’t do them perfectly, but to the very end he didn’t find that he had enough or that this training was boring. It also happened that something amused him. On the other hand, after completing the exercises, disappointment appeared: “why is it so short?” and that is a positive sign. He liked the exercises, he did not compulsorily do them, as was often the case with online PE lessons during the coronavirus pandemic. Here my son actually enjoyed the movement.

Once we were able to access the full 20-minute workout, we were able to conduct further tests. And here the length has already turned out to be sufficient. By the end my son was already a little pissed, but he still enjoyed the exercises. And that’s what physical activity is all about – it should give us pleasure first of all. And not be a punishment.

We definitely rate the training from Ewa Chodakowska as a plus. This is a very nice way to get your child moving, even when the weather outside the window does not make them feel like cycling or long walks. Especially that it is a free training and available to all Internet users in Poland. In our house, Gang of Snacks is now a regular guest. My son trains 2 or 3 times a week and he does not need to be strongly persuaded to do so. And before that it was different. On other days, I try to take care of his physical activity in a different way. This is very important because both good condition and correct weight are important for the health and immunity of children.

Ahead of us is a new school year, connected with the infection season, and also taking place in the shadow of the pandemic. Physical education lessons are to be held without contact sports. It cannot be ruled out that remote learning will return, so the children will again be sitting in front of the computer for hours. All forms of physical activity are highly recommended now. And the training of Ewa Chodakowska is definitely suitable for keeping our children entertained in a pleasant way, regardless of the circumstances.
