Winter is a time of fun outdoor games, noisy New Year holidays and a great mood. However, all this is overshadowed by the high risk of ARVI, especially in children’s groups. It is important to competently warm the child’s body with delicious vitamin drinks.
Hot ginger lemonade
Ginger is a source of vitamins that boost immunity. In combination with honey and lemon, the drink turns out to be not only tasty, but also many times healthier. For young children, it is important not to overdo it with this ingredient, because ginger tastes quite spicy.
Pour half a teaspoon of grated ginger into a glass of hot water. Add lemon wedge and fresh mint leaf. You can, if desired, sweeten such lemonade with a teaspoon of natural honey.
Hot chocolate
If your child is not allergic, make him some delicious hot chocolate. Take 500 ml of milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, 100 grams of dark chocolate, a cinnamon stick. In a saucepan, combine milk, honey, cinnamon. Simmer over low heat. Grate the chocolate and add it to the mixture. When the chocolate is completely dissolved, you can get the cinnamon. Bring the drink to a boil and remove from the stove.
Children’s cinnamon latte
Of course, coffee is not useful for a children’s latte. This drink is prepared on the basis of milk and honey. Take 2 cinnamon sticks, a tablespoon of natural liquid honey, half a glass of milk, 2,5 cups of boiled water. Pour water into a saucepan, dip the cinnamon in it and bring to a boil. Cool, remove the cinnamon from the water and add honey here. Reheat the infusion until the honey is completely dissolved. Heat the milk a little, beat it into a froth. Gently pour the milk into the cinnamon-honey mixture.
Mulled wine for children
For the preparation of children’s mulled wine, oranges, honey and apples are used, as well as cloves and other spices if desired. Take an orange, a green apple, a liter of natural apple juice, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves to taste. Heat apple juice in a saucepan, add orange juice to it. Mix orange zest with sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Pour the mixture and honey into warm apple juice. Add cloves to the drink. Cut the apple without the peel and core into slices, add them to the mulled wine. Add lemon juice to this. Now the drink can be removed from the stove and wait until it cools down.
Apple-vanilla tea
Prepare 100 grams of green apple, 100 grams of pear, 50 grams of lemon, 50 grams of orange, cinnamon stick, 400 ml of boiling water. Cut the fruit into small cubes and place in a teapot. Pour boiling water over all the ingredients. Add cinnamon to the drink. Tea can be drunk after 15 minutes. You can add a teaspoon of honey to the cooled drink.
