I am a big fan of wine. I don’t like trendy synthetic cocktails, much less whiskey and vodka. But guilt is my everything. Someday I will still save up money, take a vacation without pay and rush to France for the Beaujolais feast.
In the meantime, this happy day has not come, let’s figure out what you can taste delicious. I think my experience as a sommelier will be valuable to many.
5 best white wines for summer
I don’t think white wine is the perfect choice for spring, for my taste it’s a summer option. Chilled, golden-straw in a transparent glass, with the aroma of apples or peaches – of course, this is for a summer dinner on the terrace!
But since I generally adore white wines, I will tell you which ones I would choose this summer.
- Tsimlyansky Grand Reserve is a dry white wine with a rich, multifaceted taste. Suitable for a festive table and generally special occasions.
- The Premier Blanc Château Tamagne Reserve is my favorite, a very subtle yet full-bodied wine. Recommend.
- Chardonnay Chateau Tamagne Reserve is another masterpiece of the same producer, a very good wine. But the chardonnay is too harsh for my taste. For an amateur.
- Inkerman Heritage Gurji Rkatsiteli is an excellent dry white wine for lovers of Crimean grape varieties. Rich taste and very long aftertaste.
- Muscat Premium Zaporozhye is a wine I simply could not help but add, because I can’t imagine a collection of white wines without Muscat. Although classified as dry, it tastes like a semi-sweet.
5 best rose wines for summer
Rosé wine is a special story, as is rosé champagne. It is wonderful in itself, it can be served with fish, meat, and even chocolate.
I like it with roasted poultry or with fruit and cheese. If you haven’t made friends with Russian rosé wines yet, here are five nominees for best friends:
- Author’s Cabernet Franc Fanagoria is a wonderful dry rose wine for every day. It costs about 400 rubles, but in fact the bouquet is worthy of all 800, as in my opinion.
- Rose Sun Valley – perfect for a gift if you are going to visit. Subtle aroma, light, fresh taste. Perhaps it would be worth putting it first to get acquainted with rose wines.
- FoodTime Fanagoria is another companion for every day. Unobtrusive aroma, pleasant taste, affordable price.
- Rosa Tamany Chateau Tamagne is a very tasty semi-sweet wine for fruits and desserts. A beautiful bottle and a very remarkable color in the glass.
- Muscat Carminel Old Crimea. Muscat completes the top five again, but how could it be without it. In my understanding, Muscat should be pink, aroma, color and taste are perfectly combined. This specimen smells very touchingly of roses.
5 best red wines for summer
And here they are, those same red wines, famous throughout the world. Without red wines, I cannot imagine grilled meat, shish kebab in pita bread and juicy suluguni. I will recommend only dry or semi-dry options, since red semi-sweet for me is already a liquor.
- Cabernet Sauvignon Family Reserve The Black Sea coast of Kuban is a rich, expressive and heady wine for special occasions.
- Licuria Merlot-Cabernet Lefkadia – softer and lighter than the previous one, slightly tart and pleasant. Perfect for lunch.
- Tsimlyansky Grand Reserve – dry red wine to the table for every day or for a holiday. Gathering a company for a barbecue – buy a few bottles of this wine.
- Inkerman Heritage Inji is an author’s blend – for this wine three grape varieties are used at once, Cabernet, Merlot and Sauvignon. Perhaps that is why it has such a bewitching color and aroma, with a long aftertaste.
- Cru Lermont Saperavi Fanagoria – I love saperavi almost as much as I love cabernet. An ideal choice for smoked cheese and cheese in general.
5 best sparkling wines for summer
And finally, about Russian champagne.
- Champagne Russian – quite a decent white brut, appropriate for New Godili at a wedding.
- Moscato by ZB – for lovers of sweets, this is the option that they bring on a date.
- Victor Dravigny Abrau Durso – if I chose only from sparkling wines of Russia, I would choose it.
- White semi-sweet Chateau Tamagne is a favorite of ladies’ corporate parties and parties.
- Sparkling white Inkerman – for me this brut is in second place after Abrau Durso. Refined aroma and decent taste.
Well, I told you about the favorites of this summer, almost all of them cost up to 1000 rubles, what did you try yourself? What are your impressions?
