I am constantly looking for and inventing new recipes for alcoholic beverages. I love experimenting with ingredients, creating new flavors. This led to high prices in stores for alcohol, as well as the disgusting quality of the product.
There is no desire to spend money on what producers proudly call cognac or wine. So you have to improvise. Today I will present to the readers a few homemade tinctures, which I have been preparing for more than a year.

Sea buckthorn tincture
This is the simplest recipe, the implementation of which will require only sea buckthorn berries and vodka. In my case, this is the purest 40-degree moonshine. Water and granulated sugar are added as needed. I take:
- sea buckthorn berries – about 1 kg;
- moonshine – 2 l.
I pour the peeled and washed berries into a jar of the appropriate size to fill no more than 2/3 of the volume. Vodka is also poured there and left for a couple of months in the dark. After 2-3 months, the tincture should be drained, and the berries should be slightly squeezed.
I keep the liquid in the refrigerator for a couple of days so that the oily fraction emerges. Using a spoon or syringe, I collect healing oil. If necessary, I repeat the procedure.
Now the tincture can be filtered through cotton pads. To get a completely transparent liquid, the procedure is repeated 2-3 times.
The tincture is diluted with water up to 30 degrees, granulated sugar is added to taste, and it is sent to the cellar for a month. As a result, for 60-70 rubles. I get 2 liters of a delicious drink (I pick the berries myself).
Tip: If you put honey instead of sugar, the taste will be amazing.
Cinnamon tincture
Cinnamon is an excellent anti-inflammatory agent, it has tonic properties, reduces appetite.
Tincture helps in the treatment of sore throats, eliminates bad breath from the mouth. To prepare a drink, you will need:
- 2 liters of good moonshine;
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks;
- 4 cloves;
- 3 art. l natural honey;
- 4 peas of allspice.
I put all the components in a 3-liter jar and fill it with moonshine. To maximize the cinnamon, I break the sticks in half. I dissolve honey in the resulting mixture, close the container hermetically and remove it from the light for 5 days.
After that, I filter the liquid and pour it into 4 bottles, as a result, a bottle of the drink cost 50 rubles. This is provided that I have my own moonshine.
Tip: Don’t leave cinnamon in the jar for too long. It can give the tincture a bitter taste.
Cranberry tincture
Before insisting, I freeze cranberries. So it gives off its aroma and taste better. To prepare a drink I take:
- a glass of cranberries;
- 0.5 liters of moonshine;
- Xnumx g of granulated sugar.
After defrosting, I rub the berries well with a mashed potatoes, transfer the resulting slurry to a container for infusion. I fall asleep sugar, pour in alcohol and stir everything well.
I cover the container with a cotton cloth and tighten the neck with an elastic band. I send it to the cellar for a couple of weeks to insist. Then I filter the liquid, squeezing the cake well.
If a glass of cranberries costs 30 rubles, a bottle of moonshine costs 12 rubles. (at cost), and 300 g of sugar 7 rubles, the total cost of the drink is 49 rubles. Wonderful!
Tip: so that the drink does not filter, the berries can be pierced with an awl or a thick needle instead of rubbing. If you have the patience.
Cherry tincture
Fragrant ruby drink is perfect for any feast. To prepare it, you need a few products:
- 2 cups ripe cherries;
- 0.5 l of high-quality moonshine;
- 1 cup sugar.
Cherries are suitable not only fresh, but also frozen. I put the berries in a jar, add sugar and shake lightly to mix.
After 3-4 hours, the cherry will release juice, in which you need to completely dissolve the sugar. I pour moonshine, close the lid and put it in the cellar for a month.
After the specified time, I filter the tincture and bottle it. The remaining alcoholized cherries can be used when making a cake. Berries keep well in the refrigerator. For 25 rubles. I received 0.7 liters of divine drink.
