Recently, multi-storey construction has become more and more popular, but in every city there are skyscrapers or business centers that stand out from the general background with their unrealistic beauty. Yekaterinburg was no exception. But once upon a time, mainly 1- and 2-story houses were built here. The tallest buildings were churches.
Since 1920, five-story buildings began to appear in the city. In 1932, two high-rise buildings were built – a residential building (11 floors) and the Iset Hotel (10). They have been “record holders” for a long time. Since 1973, mass construction of skyscrapers began according to standard designs. The 2000s were marked by the commissioning of 25-26-storey buildings. The so-called “high-rise boom” began.
Until 2017, Yekaterinburg was in 86th place in the ranking of “The Highest Cities in the World”. About 1066 buildings were built in the city, the height of which exceeded 35 meters. At the moment, he dropped out of this rating, but there are no fewer high-rise buildings here.
In this article we will tell you about the tallest buildings in Yekaterinburg. The rating did not include technical buildings, only residential buildings, business and shopping centers.

The first two houses were handed over (the first in 2010, the second in 2013), and the third section has not yet been completed.
