A film by Valeria Surokova based on the play of the same name by Anna Yablonskaya. The film is about a family led by an unemployed musician father.
The mother works alone for the whole family, trying to save up to pay for her daughter’s education. Suddenly, a grandmother comes to live in their uncomfortable old apartment with eternal repairs.
None of the household is happy about the arrival of the grandmother, relatives do not want to listen to her Christian moral teachings. However, the longer the grandmother lives within the walls of the apartment of the main characters, the more tangibly the life of all the characters in the film begins to improve.

A film by Yuri Bykov, one of the greatest and most talented Russian directors. Bykov for this picture also acted as a screenwriter, composer and actor.

He conflicts and fights with the restless 10th grade, but after a while he becomes close to the students. He gets so close that the good girl Masha, a 10th grade student, falls in love with her geography teacher.
A difficult fate, the characters’ characters, the interaction of an adult with children and drunkenness from the hopelessness of life – this film is truly deep and multifaceted.
And it seems that the film ends with hope for a good future, but the whole tragedy is realized only after the final credits, when the whole depth of the scene on the balcony of Viktor Sluzhkin’s old apartment reaches the viewer’s mind.

A film directed by Boris Khlebnikov, showing the daily life of doctors in an ordinary Russian hospital. The main character, Oleg, works for an ambulance, rushes from one call to another, realizing that every traffic jam and a slowly moving elevator will cost someone their life.
Oleg is so immersed in saving other people from the death that he completely forgets about saving his own happiness. The wife decides to divorce, the hospital has new bosses, and Oleg continues to rush from challenge to challenge …

Another film in our top from director Yuri Bykov. In the center of the plot is a crack in the wall of a hostel in which 800 people live. The indifference of local authorities should lead to the fact that within a day the building will collapse, burying entire families under its rubble.
