10 Yoho
Yoho is located on the continental division of the two regions of British Columbia and Albert, adjacent to another famous Banff park, which we will talk about later.
Yoho Park is located a couple of hours drive from the large city of Calgary, striking with its untouched wildlife. There are two whole lakes on the territory: Emerald, with its marvelous shade of water, and O’Hara.
Also on the territory there are other attractions and tourist sites: waterfalls, the unique formation of the Natural Bridge, etc. They are the heritage of the indigenous people who inhabited the area many centuries ago.
9. Prince Edward
This territory was named after the prince and is located on the island of the same name. The piece of land is notable for being the only place in the region with access to the Atlantic Ocean.
The national park is located on the northern coast of the island and literally attracts tourists with its red sandstone cliffs descending directly into the ocean.
Tourists can relax on the fine sand, swim or even camp. Fortunately, there is something to see in the park: go to the Covehead Lighthouse, visit local history and historical museums.
8. Auyuite
It is located on one of the largest islands on our planet in the area of Baffin Island. The territory impresses with its panoramas and unique flora, formed under the influence of the Arctic climate.
Summer days here are elongated – the sun almost never sets, so tourists prefer to visit the park in the first two months of summer. At midnight in Auyuittuq Park, the sky is bright, like during the White Nights. Of the unique excursions, a race across the Arctic tundra on a team of sled dogs is offered here.
7. Gros Morne
A place of unique beauty can be seen on the coast of the famous city of Newfoundland. A significant part of the park surrounds the Long Range mountains, where the famous Appalachians are formed.
Tourists flock to the area mainly for hiking – the viewing platforms and panoramas of Gros Morne are breathtaking. Here you can swim along the Western Creek – you will see large-scale views of the mountain peaks. It is also worth a look at the Cow’s Head Lighthouse, listening to the mysterious legends of local guides.
6. Riding Mountain
The park is located in the Manitoba region and is an Eden for fans of hiking and camping. It is noteworthy that the park covers the area inhabited by the indigenous tribe of Wasagaming, which will provide an opportunity to learn unusual traditions, as well as taste unique traditional dishes.
In a certain historical period, the park was the territory of a prisoner of war camp. It is necessary to visit the Luun Island Trail in the park with its rich fauna: elk, geese, white pelicans, beavers, wolves, cougars, etc. Near the local lake Odie, you may be lucky enough to see unique animals – wild bison.

The park is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains and is a massive protected area with glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks.
Tourists appreciate the place for hiking, as well as active pastime (climbing, horseback riding, fishing, rafting on mountain rivers, etc.). You can visit here the beautiful Athabasca waterfalls, as well as the transparent Medisne Lake.
