10 Oleg Livshits – 375 kg
This is an honored master of sports in several disciplines:
- triathlon;
- bench press Fpr;
- bench press WPC;
- deadlift according to the WPC standard.
Also Oleg Livshits has the honorary title of master of sports of international class according to the standard of the powerlifters’ union. In the discipline of deadlift, he set a world record in the amount of 6 times.
And it all started in childhood, when young Oleg, at the age of twelve, began doing home push-ups and training on the horizontal bar in the yard. At the age of 14, he began to master rugby, and after training he was engaged in strength exercises. He also attended boxing classes.
9. Vladimir Kalinichenko – 377,5 kg
He repeatedly won power extreme competitions, set records in the sum of Russian triathlon. He also bears the honored title of master of sports of powerlifting.
Sport Vladimir Kalinichenko I started to get involved in football since school, like many of my peers. Then came judo and athletics. He also passed tests according to the CMS standard for hand-to-hand combat and sambo.
Despite further military service and work in Israel, Kalinichenko did not stop sports. However, he did not have any professional performances.
8. Alexey Serebryakov – 380 kg
Powerlifting fans are well aware of this name. From childhood, Alexey became interested in sports, and he came to the power field at the age of 13 and began to master bodybuilding. After 5 years (that is, in his adulthood), Alexey took 2nd place in this power sport. However, bodybuilding soon had to be abandoned in favor of another area.
On account of Alexey Serebryakov several honorary awards. Among them, it is worth noting the “title” of the champion and winner of the Russian Cup in powerlifting held in 2001. In the same year, he was the champion in the squat. And at present, Serebryakov is busy in strongman competitions, which replaced powerlifting for him.
7. Kirill Sarychev – 380 kg
He holds the absolute world record for bench press barefoot. Only one appearance Kirill Sarychev makes a lasting impression. His height is 197 cm and weighs over 160 kg. And unlike some representatives of powerlifting, Cyril does not look like a fat man swollen with fat. He has a taut shape and even a T-shirt cannot hide the characteristic relief of the abdomen with cubes.

6. Alexander Klyushev – 385 kg
The owner of the deserved title of the master of sports of powerlifting. Twice won the title of champion in this form at the youth competitions in 2004 and 2005, respectively. And in 2006 he became the champion of Europe. He took part in ongoing international tournaments, where he repeatedly won victories.
According to the results of the competitions in 2008, 2009 and 2011, he became the strongest man in Russia – a real Russian hero. Also in his arsenal are many records of power extreme sports.
Sports activities Alexandra Klyusheva started while he was still in school in the fifth grade. Initially, it was judo classes. His father was a weightlifter and, perhaps for this reason, at the age of 12 he began to master the basics of powerlifting.
5. Andrey Belyaev – 395 kg
Another Russian hero and holder of several records, not only according to the results of competitions held on the territory of the Russian Federation, but also in other countries of Europe and the world. In the arsenal of awards there are two bronze statuettes (2009, 2001) awarded to the participants of the Titans Cup. Several times Andrey was awarded the title of champion of Europe, Russia and the World according to various standards:
- IPF.
- FPR.
- GPA.
- IPL.
- WRP.
He also won victories by participating in international tournaments.
Engaged in sports Andrey Belyaev at age 14, attending a local gym. In 1999, powerlifting competitions of a regional nature were held, where Belyaev took 6th place according to the results:
- squat – 140 kg;
- bench press – 130 kg;
- deadlift – 170 kg.

4. Vladimir Bondarenko – 400 kg
This is not just a person who can rightfully be included in the list of the strongest people in Russia – this is a real legend on a global scale. Vladimir Bondarenko is part of the Russian gold team in powerlifting. And this team has not yet suffered a single defeat for a solid period – for 8 years in a row it has only won victories in competitions.
Even for foreign representatives of powerlifting, the name Bondarenko speaks volumes! But Vladimir was forced to leave this sport in 2007. He made a balanced decision and the move he made did not upset him at all, since there were many achievements behind him.
3. Andrey Malanichev
Many times he was awarded the title of powerlifting champion of the Russian Federation. Andrei is the owner of the honorary sports title of Honored Master of Sports of Russia. He won many victories in international competitions. He won the Titans Cup award five times. On account Andrey Malanichev more than 30 general awards – world, European, Russian.
Before starting in powerlifting, Andrey was engaged in other activities in various sports areas:
- wrestling;
- boxing;
- cycling.
Power triathlon captivated the future master at the age of 16. His first coach was Andrei Chuprin, who laid the foundation for a powerful power base for Malanichev. Subsequently, this turned into impressive results.
2. Konstantin Pozdeev – 404 kg
This is the absolute world record holder, as well as the deadlift standards of Russia and Europe in the weight category of not more than 110 kg. Konstantin Pozdeev bears the well-deserved title of master of sports according to the international classification. He received it in 2003. He also won the world champion title in powerlifting according to the IPF standard.
For the first time, Konstantin began to engage in power triathlon in 2000 as a teenager. Subsequently, this occupation brought good results in his sports activities. For 2 years (from 2012 to 2014) Pozdeev was able to set more than 10 records.
1. Mikhail Koklyaev – 417,5 kg
He is deservedly considered a recognized weightlifter and bodybuilder. As many as 8 times Mikhail became the champion of Russia in competitions in the category with a weight of more than 105 kg. His personal record in the deadlift discipline (417,5 kg) has not yet been beaten by anyone. Such brilliant performance Mikhail Koklyaev was able to achieve through sheer willpower.
The future bodybuilder became interested in weightlifting when he was 14 years old. In 1992, with a weight of 57 kg, his height was 170 cm. With such data, he first entered the gym and from that time his rise to the top of power sports began, not only domestic, but also international class.

Mikhail Koklyaev deservedly takes first place in the ranking of the most powerful people in the Russian Federation and is a real Russian Bogatyr of our time with a capital letter! But it is worth including one more candidate in this list, who has many achievements, though not in power traction, but in other disciplines.
He is known for taking part in various events. But his strong achievement can be considered the title of Master of Sports of the Russian Federation in powerlifting at the age of 19. Other fruitful results also deserve attention:
- In 2001, the All-Russian tournament of strongmen was held, where Nigmatulin won up, taking first place.
- 2005 – the outcome of the strongman competition turned out to be Elbrus Nigmatulin the title of vice-champion of the world.
- 2006 brought a much greater achievement in truck pool, where the 32-year-old athlete set a record. The idea was to pull a 186-ton vessel along the Moscow River at a distance of 10 meters.
- In 2009, the conditions became even more difficult and now it was necessary to take in tow a floating structure of 20 meters weighing 760 tons.
And this is not all of his personal victories, and some of them were included in the Guinness Book of Records. In addition to direct participation in competitions and tournaments, Elbrus Nigmatulin holds the position of a coach, as well as a sports organizer.
His “command” gave rise to many athletes, including such names as Dmitry Konontsev, Mikhail Koklyaev, Alexei Serebryakov. And for this alone, Nigmatulin deserves to be in this rating.
