In Spain, you can be yourself – no one will laugh at you or judge you. Do you want to sit on the floor in the subway? Please! Topless sunbathing? Yes to health! In Spain, boys or girls embracing in the streets will not surprise anyone either … Do what you want, you will not be convicted. Of course, these are not all the reasons to visit Spain – there are countless of them!
But since our article is devoted to something a little different – the most beautiful Spanish cities, let’s stop there.
10 San Sebastian
“I’ll be back here again!” – exclaims everyone, leaving San Sebastian, a city with an amazing atmosphere and a beautiful name. It is located on the shores of the Bay of Biscay: palm trees, cute houses, sand are everywhere here …
This city is different from other Spanish ones, similar to France. And there are so many French tourists that you forget where you are. Tourists definitely recommend climbing to the highest point of the city – La Mota Castle, you can visit it for free, from the observation deck you can see the whole city.
In San Sebastian, travelers love walking along the beach, the promenade – if you follow their example, you will see the San Sebastian City Hall along the way, which was built in 1882 as a casino. Nearby there is a beautiful Jardines de Alderdi Eder park, what a joy to sit in it, enjoy the views and bask in the sun!
9. Santander
Staying in this city gives tourists a lot of joy, because Santander invites them to take a walk along the best beaches and a safe city, swim in the sea. There are no riots, fuss and emotionally unbalanced people.
Santander is a safe city with narrow streets rising uphill from the coast. There is also old architecture, but, from the point of view of aesthetes, the town is average, especially unremarkable, but why is it so tempting to return here?!
The reason for this is the beaches of Sardinero, where people relax. Local women are very fond of topless sunbathing. However, you should refrain from the charm of beautiful girls and beaches – there is a great chance to get burned, and then go down with a temperature. Everything is good in moderation!
8. Córdoba
Like other cities in Spain, Córdoba – unique and amazing. This city is an old one in Andalusia, the provincial capital. Located on the right bank of the Guadalquivir – to get into it, you have to go through the Roman bridge.
Cordoba is a city with deep historical roots, many of whose monuments are protected by UNESCO. One of the main attractions is the Calahorra tower. This is not even one tower, but as many as 3, connected into one. Once it was part of an Arab fortress.
What exactly is there to do here? Whatever your heart desires! There is a small square with an abundance of souvenir shops and restaurants, shops, on one side there is a Renaissance fountain, built in 1577, with the image of a foal. By the way, the square was described in Cervantes’ novel Don Quixote.
7. Toledo
Toledo – a beautiful stone city with a beautiful museum, a must-see! It is located in a picturesque place and is an example of a real medieval city with stone-paved streets – just a stone jungle!
The road is built in such a way that you constantly have to go up – that’s another adventure, especially if you are carrying a stroller with a child. No major European city is complete without such an attraction as the Cathedral – Toledo is no exception.
The Cathedral of Santa Maria de Toledo is a magnificent place that amazes with its scale and extraordinary beauty. In addition to the fortress, the Alcazar of Toledo and the Ejercito Museum are worth a look.
Interesting fact: in a tourist shop in Toledo, swords were forged for the film “The Lord of the Rings”.

Burgos – a city with stunning architecture, from which you can’t take your eyes off! According to tourists, Burgos is a city where you can live in peace, raise children and enjoy every day a cup of espresso in the square or reading a newspaper in the park.
Life is always in full swing here, so many choose the city as a resort. Burgos is not rich in sights: there are several interesting museums, 2 pedestrian streets, monuments. It is pleasant to walk on Bogoridi Boulevard, enjoy the architecture and sit in one of the restaurants.
It is worth seeing, having arrived in the city, the main cathedral – Saints Cyril and Methodius. Both inside and outside, it looks monumental, and even gothic. It was built in the XNUMXth century. Rest in the city Valencia above all praise! It is quite possible that this will become your favorite vacation spot or vacation spot. The Spanish town is very soulful, which is felt in every corner: it combines the beautiful architecture of buildings, kind people, the sea with sandy beaches.
Everything is convenient in Valencia: from the airport to supermarkets (there are shops at every turn). In autumn, Valencia is especially beautiful: the city becomes quieter, because there are fewer tourists, and the trees in the parks and streets of the city are so elegant!
The beaches in the city are very wide and long. There is an interesting futuristic architecture here. Parks are a work of art! In “Turia” I want to walk all day, think about something of my own … And these thoughts are definitely not about bad things. This city is bright, rich, modern – there is a desire to return.
3. Madrid
Madrid is one of the most beautiful European capitals. Many travelers choose to visit it because of the architecture – it is amazing! Neoclassical, baroque, gothic – for every taste!
Perhaps there are no identical buildings in this city, and therefore I want to photograph each one. Narrow streets abound in Madrid, and the number of motorcycles is off the charts. There is good news for fans of bus tours – there are double-decker Madrid City Tours, which will open an overview of the beauties of the city.
Sabatini Gardens are worth special attention. The park area began to be erected in 1933 – the gardens are named after the former stables of the palace, built by Francesco Sabatini (1722-1797). It will take about an hour to completely bypass it. It’s worth it! Also, having arrived in Madrid, it is worth visiting the Plaza de Oriente, the Royal Palace, located to the right of it. But that’s not all, there are many other interesting things.

Bilbao called the most touristic Spanish city. It is with a high and developed infrastructure, located on the Nervion River. Rest here is successful because at the same time you can see other interesting neighboring cities.
What admires is the embankment. On it is the most unusual sculpture in the world of a 9-meter spider called “Mom”. The author is a Frenchwoman, her spiders are in other cities. Be sure to visit the museum that made Bilbao famous, the Guggenheim. The museum building resembles a spaceship and there are always a lot of people here.
Before entering the museum, it is impossible not to pay attention to the figure of a puppy – it is made of flowers and is 13 meters high. The puppy even has a nickname – Puppy. Tourists are also attracted to Bilbao by the beach – Gorrondache Azcorri and cuisine. The food in this city is homemade, very diverse, the chefs are admirable!

Catalonia is territorially Spain, but all residents of Barcelona call themselves Catalans and are not considered Spaniards.
Barcelona is a major port, you can get here by sea. Stepping ashore, be sure to see the Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family (the main attraction), the cathedral, visit the square of St. James.
